Wait guys confirm this for me. did Leia name Kylo after Obi Wan? We now know that when she met him, she knew him as Ben. She couldn’t outright name him Obi Wan, but Ben was a name that was in memory of him. It makes the most sense she would name him after Obi, the man who saved her life multiple times. Plus, Leia wouldn’t name her kids without sentimental meaning. Is this canon already???

My one and only, my lifeline.
Obi Wan x Reader
Loosely based off of Dress, by Taylor Swift.
1.7k Words
Dedicated to @thafterglows
Tumblr media
“What are you doing Obi?” I managed to squeak out as my fellow padawan tugged the sleeve of my elaborate dress robes down the corridor.
“Trying to get you to loosen up a bit, wouldn’t want you to be uptight at your first meeting with the Jedi counsel.”
“But that’s exactly what I need to be when meeting with the highest courts of our entire race. Serious, and collected. Not disheveled, you swamp rat.”
He led me down the hall to an empty room within the palace.
“Mhm, swamp rat, that’s a new one darling.” He said, kissing up my jaw and ending his pursuits at my temple before turning his attention to my lips.
“Oh.. well as much as I enjoy you stealing me away from the gala, you know we can’t be seen together.”
“Isn’t the secrecy all the fun?” He kissed my head, leaning into me, beckoning me not to leave.
“Oh, you ass, you just know what you do to me.”
“I know, and I will forever cherish the fact that I’m the only man who knows how to untie those very elaborate knots you insist on tying your robes with.” He said, skillfully untying the belt holding my robes together.
“I only tie it like that so I can watch you untie it, you know.”
“I absolutely adore you,” He smiled as my robes fell to the ground, and he gawked like it was the first time he had seen me. “I also cherish that I am the only man to have seen this wonderful sight before me.”
I remained silent, as I awaited his advances. The weighted breaths and hesitant touches made the tension grow thick. My hand shook as I reached out to touch his shoulder, holding back from the fate I knew my advances would bring.
“Y/N..” He breathed out as he leaned into my touch.
Many Years Later…
The hum of the nightlife and the foul stench of the artificially fruity drinks made me long to be literally anywhere rather than here
“What’s a sweet thing like you doing all alone?” I felt the heavy breath of a stranger down my neck and a greasy hand on my arm.
“Certainly not looking for company.” I spun around on my barseat, landing a sharp jab to the man’s rib cage. He doubled over and raised his arm to hit me as he came back to his full posture. I blocked it by gripping his wrist and swept my leg around to knock him off balance.
He fell to the ground as the onlookers went back to their drinks.
“You will calm down and allow me to handcuff you.” I said, gesturing my hand and focusing my energy on the absolute scum in front of me.
“I will calm down and allow you to handcuff me.”
I pulled out the handcuffs I had stowed away in my belt loop and handcuffed him around a pole. It seemed like a bad solution, but this guy was definitely not smart enough to figure out how to escape.
I went back to my seat at the bar to finish off my drink, throwing back the glass.
“Another whiskey for the lady, tonic water for me. Thank you, good sir.” I heard a familiar voice say from beside me. I whipped my head over to the side to confirm my suspicions.
“As I live and breathe. Obi Wan Kenobi.” “Why hello there, my dear. Could you say it a bit louder, I don’t think the bounty hunters heard you.”
“Well, I wanted to make sure it was really you, you’ve been a ghost for about seven years now. You’ve died about ten times now.”
“Have I? I don’t think it’s been that many.”
“Well, god knows I don’t keep count.”
“On another note, what in the world are you doing on Tatooine? Last time I saw you here, you stepped in bantha dung and swore off the place all together.”
“I assure you, I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t chasing agent idiot.”
“Funny you say that, considering I have strict orders from the Jedi Consent to deliver this man directly to the Senate.”
“Seems like I made the job easy for you. I just don’t like it when men sneak up on me in crowded bars. I didn’t plan on it being the man I’m looking for, but I guess that worked out well for me.”
“I find it hard to believe you just stumbled upon a wanted spice lord in a random bar on Mos Eisley, but scum does seem to always find a way.”
“How’ve you been surviving since your master let you off the leash a little bit? I guess relatively okay since you’re the Jedi Counsel’s errand boy.”
“I make it work. I’ve had to get good at surviving on my own, but I manage,” He said, with a pained expression spread across his face. “ Now, would you mind telling me how we ended up chasing the same man?”
“Well, I’ve been in freelance work since I lost my master. Word got through the grapevine there would be a bounty on him, so I wanted to get him before the hunters could make a living off him.”
“I can respect that. Would you mind accompanying me to deliver him to the council?”
“Of course, we can leave at first light. I’d like to catch up a bit first.”
We paid off our respective tabs, and got our prisoner to transporting condition. He was keeping to his calmness and didn’t resist when we placed him in a holding cell near the inn I was staying in.
I opened the door to my room, and placed the hood I was wearing delicately on the hooks on the wall and he did the same as I pulled the door too.
“Only so often when you see an old friend.”
“Old friend… of course. You know Obi, it never ceases to amaze me how you still manage to act like you’re a perfect jedi. We both know about the jedi code. Or, the lack of such in our relationship.”
“I never said I claimed to be perfect. I know what the pretenses of our… relations were. I thought we were friends?”
“You thought we were merely friends?” I said, as I searched for the words to say.
“Were we not?”
“Do you have no remembrance of these pretenses you speak of? I don’t remember one of them being just friends.”
“I didn’t know if you ever wanted to be more.”
“Obi, you saw me at my worst time and time again and you never left me. You saw through my worst lies and my biggest mistakes. You always saw the best in me. And you call that just being a friend?”
“Darling-“
“Do not call me that. Kenobi I don’t think you understand.”
“What part of this could I not understand? If you didn’t want me around, you could have told me years ago.”
“No, I never said I didn't want you. I don’t want you like a best friend. Unless you’re willing to accept that, I don’t want you in my life.”
“Then tell me how you want me.”
“I want you to understand the mark you left on me. What we shared was passionate, deep, and absolutely golden. But you walk into the room I invited you into, your mind guarded… because you convinced yourself that what we had was nothing. Were our secret moments in a crowded room nothing to you? If you don’t believe in what I feel, you can look into my mind and see for yourself.”
He was silent as he took a seat on the bed. His calculated expression softened as he closed his eyes and lowered his head. I sat down and carefully rested my hand on his knee. Over our time together in the past couple days, I never took the time to study how he had changed since I last saw him.
The fine lines on his face had deepened over time, and his previously smooth skin had been littered with stubble. I knew he used to keep it clean shaven because he couldn’t grow it out as a padawan, but realistically he was just frustrated he couldn’t get it past patchy stubble back then. I was glad he ditched the padawan braid, I always did think it was tacky.
He had matured past his boyish looks I grew familiar with when we were younger. It had been so goddamn long, and it hadn’t hit me until now.
In time, soft lines became sharp edges, and his troubled expression displayed just that.
He breathed out softly. “Y/N, I know how I feel for you. I’ve felt it so deeply since the day I laid eyes on you when we were younglings. We were more innocent back then, more hopeful than we could ever imagine. But the world is unkind to us, to our people, but I wanted nothing more in this life than to be by your side. To fight for you and beside you until the end of our time in these fair galaxies. I can’t escape the memories and flashbacks I see every time I close my eyes. Darling, you left your mark on me. I knew we couldn't have what I so deeply wanted. So forgive me if I attempt to remember you as a friend to help take the pain away.”
His eyes met mine for the first time since he opened his mouth, and he rested his hand on mine.
“My love, if I get burned….. at least we were electrified.” I rested my free hand on the back of his neck as he leaned into my touch.
The space between us grew slim as I felt his hot breath on my face. His head rested against mine in a way I hadn’t felt in years.
“I am so, irrevocably, in love with you.”
Our lips met in a fit of passion and built up tension from years of lost time. One hand ran through his grown out hair and my other lifted to rest a hand on his cheek.
“I will never leave you again Obi. Never, ever again.”
It was like I had woken up from a bad dream.
My one and only, my lifeline.

Tequila Girls Pt. 2
Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw x f!OC

Bea's Pov
“So does Hawaii 5-0 have a name?” I asked as he pulled me out a seat at the bar.
“Never heard that one before, but you can call me Bradley.” He said and I felt a wave of relief wash over me.
Thank god, he didn’t use a callsign.
“Bea,” I said as I hailed Penny over at her own convenience, “Well, Bradley, what are you feeling tonight. You already got my hopes up with the piano bit, so I’m expecting this to either nosedive or be the best night of my life.”
“Hoping for the latter, but we’ll see where the tequila takes us.” He said, surprising me a bit.
“How’d you know I was a tequila girl?”
“I can smell it on your breath,” His eyes scanned my face and glazed over my lips as he glanced over to me from his position leaned up against the bar. “I like a girl who can handle her liquor, but I’ve found that tequila girls make for the best heartbreaks.”
He threw back his own shot while I searched for what to say next.
“So we just met and you’re already planning on how you’re going to break my heart?”
“Oh no hon, I’d say you can hold your own. You don’t walk into a bar wearin’ a dress like that not knowing the consequences,” He looked me up and down and smirked, “You know exactly what you’re doing.”
“I would fire back but I think you’ve got me figured out loverboy. Where have you been my whole life?” I said, laughing at his confidence.
“Well let me show you a good time so I don’t leave any expectations unmet. First stop, the dancefloor.”
He sauntered out to an empty area he dubbed the makeshift dancefloor and reached out his hand to me. He put a quarter in the jukebox and pressed a worn out number he seemed all to familiar with. Of course it was eighties music.
Points to pretty boy, he has taste.
I took his hand and he dramatically pulled me toward him. He pulled me close and twirled me around for a couple seconds before catching me in his arms because I was so dizzy.
He placed his arms around my waist as the song reached the slower part of the bridge. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and leaned onto his shoulder. As the song faded out the distance between us drew closer. I leaned into the embrace for perhaps a little too long after the song ended, but hey, what the hell.
However, I tried to at least maintain some of the mystery before I let him win so easily.
“Please excuse me for a moment, I need to go powder my nose,” I said, twirling myself out of his embrace, keeping my hold on his hand and slowly releasing it as I walked away.
Powder my nose? Who the hell was I, a character from a romcom? I sauntered to the bathroom and leaned up against the vanity. I pulled a tube of lipstick out of my purse and rolled it on to my lips.
At the vanity next to me, I saw the girl, Phoenix, fixing her bun.
“I don’t think I introduced myself,” I said, reaching my hand out to shake her’s, “Lieutenant Blackwood. Call me Bea.”
“Lieutenant Trace, Phoenix. Color me surprised, I should have been able to tell by how you handled Hangman. Dumbass doesn’t know when to stop.”
“Oh, I’m familiar with the type. Well, it was nice meeting you Lieutenant, see you around?” I said, putting the lipstick back in my purse.
“Definitely. Stay safe.”
I returned her goodbye as I heard the piano pick up outside the bathroom.
Oh, this boy was slick.
I opened the door to the bathroom and walked down the hall to see none other than Bradley sitting at the piano playing a jaunty tune I hadn’t heard since I was a kid.
“You shake my nerves and you rattle my brain..’
He sang out, looking over to the side at me walking down the hall towards him. He glanced over his sunglasses, “Too much love drives a man insane…”
“You broke my will.”
He waved me over,
“Oh what a thrill!”
He patted the bench next to him and took a sip from his beer before yelling out,
“Goodness gracious, great balls of fire!!”
I sat down next to him on the bench and watched his hands dance in the intricate patterns of the chorus. My arm was slung around his shoulder drunkenly as we screamed out the song and a crowd gathered around us.
“Come on baby, you drive me crazy!” “Goodness gracious, great balls of fire!!
We screamed out the final verse, and he turned to me once again.
“You know, the song isn’t exactly true.”
“How so?”
“You’ve got down the drive me crazy part, but we’re still missing something.”
“I don't know, I thought we covered all the bases.”`
He pulled me closer to him, and whispered in my ear
“Kiss me baby…”
I gave him a peck on the cheek and the crowd standing around us cheered us on.
“You can have a little more where that came from if you take me to see the sunset, Hawaii.”
“Say less, sweet thing” He said, taking my hand once again, and taking me to the back door.
We walked out the swing doors to the beach out back, and we both sat down beside eachother on the sand. The pinks and oranges of the sunset shined across the horizon.
“Cold?” He said, looking over to me with an innocent smile, gesturing to the shirt hanging off his shoulders.
“I wouldn’t deny it.” I replied, and he took the hawaiian shirt off and gently draped it over my shoulders.
“I just love watching the sunset. Always have. ” He said, resting his arm behind me on the sand, holding him up.
“Me too.. it’s just a different kind of beautiful. Natural beauty.”
“You’d know something about that.” He said, looking over and smiling cockily.
“Smooth.” I said, giving him a small smirk.
I leaned back onto his shoulder and rested my head in the crook of his neck.
“You know, this is really just the thing I needed. Absolutely perfect.” He rested his head on top of mine as we both watched the sun set over the horizon.
“I think you’ve earned the real deal,” I said, raising my head up to examine his facial features. His face was very soft, and inviting, with soulful brown eyes. The fine lines of his face tensed, but he relaxed when he remembered my promise from early.
“Oh, I earned it?”
Damn, this boy had a fucking golden retriever face. In a very good way.
His eyes scanned my face again and landed on my lips once again.
I leaned in, and his lips met with mine.
His soft, plump lips danced with mine as fireworks went off in my heart. That goddamn mustache brushed my lip and sent tingles down my spine. His tongue dashed across my top lip as I tilted my head to deepen the kiss as we both leaned into each other's embrace.
Maybe I actually was in a rom-com? At least that would explain the butterflies.
I pulled back and my eyes fluttered open. His eyes stared deep into mine with those warm brown eyes as we both sighed in eachothers comfort.
“Worth it…” he chuckled.
“As much as I would love to stay here and make out with you on the beach all night, I do have an early morning tomorrow.” I said, and his expression dropped, “But, I have a feeling I’ll see you around, pretty boy” I said, leaning in to give him another quick kiss.
“Don’t go darling..” He said between kissing me again. I leaned away and got up from the sand, and he followed suit.
“See you around?” I said, taking his hands in mine and looking up to him.
“See you in my dreams tonight, sweet thing.”

Tequila Girls Pt. 1
Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw x f!OC
SPOILER FREE
TW- alcohol, alcohol consumption, cursing
1.2k Words
(imagine it is one girl in the car)
Tumblr media
Bea’s Pov
I arrived in Miramar a couple days before training was actually supposed to begin. Settling into the little house I was allotted was actually quite nice. It was a nice change from the bunks and barracks on navy ships that I was used to.
The feeling of the cool breeze on my cheek as I drove down the coast and watched the fighter jets whir past reminded me of my days growing up on airbases as a kid.
I jumped around schools and temporary homes a lot, but I stayed here in Miramar for the longest. I lived in D.C. for a bit when my parents were still married, but when my parents got divorced I moved with my mom out to California
I was home-schooled, and graduated high school when I was sixteen. I got my degree in aerospace engineering, and shipped off to naval aviators academy.
I was always fascinated by how fast such a large aircraft could manage to fly and how nimbly they could maneuver. Then I learned to fly one at the ripe age of seventeen. Well, I went to school to learn exactly how they work. I didn’t actually get to fly one just yet, but when you grow up watching your mother teach everyone else how to do it, it becomes second nature the second you heave yourself into the jet for the first time.
Now at age twenty-eight, I was driving down the coast in a rental vintage BMW pulling up into one of the few parking spaces left in the parking lot of the Hard Deck.
I walked in to the noisy bar to find myself surrounded by other aviators and civilians alike. Making a beeline for the bar, I was greeted by none other then Penny Benjamin.
“Bea! Honey I haven’t seen you around here in ages, how have you been?” She said, leaning over the bar to give me a hug.
“Oh, you know, how can a girl complain when half the places she’s been she can’t talk about. Aside from, well, men, I’ve been great!” I said, returning her hug.
“Oh trust me, I’m familiar with the type.”
“They do know that jock strap’s come in other sizes, right?”
“It is quite underwhelming when you realize they don’t actually need an XL”
“Ego is all that counts, right?”
“Same fuck ten different ways, never fails.”
“God I’ve missed you so much Bea. Same drink?”
“Of course Pen.”
Penny slid my drink of choice, a tequila martini, down the counter to me. “Oh, you remembered!”
“No olives, wouldn’t forget it for the world.” She said as I took a sip, slightly wincing as I always do.
“Still a lightweight?” She said as a response to my twisted up expression
“I can keep up with the boys, but my palette is effectively ruined by all the shitty beer.”
“Speaking of the boys, 6 o’clock fly-girl.”
I turned around on my stool to see the flock of thirty-somethings coming in the front door.
“Shit, its almost like I’m in Pensacola all over again” I said, turning back around to her and feigning surprise.
“Honey, just have some fun.” She said, passing me another drink, “This one is on me.”
I turned around again only to be greeted by a swarm of men in uniforms. Most of them fit the mold of the usual clean cut Navy man. High and tight, minimal facial hair, uniforms tailored to accentuate their features to a T.
Also know as, chick magnets to any woman who doesn’t spend their entire day dealing with their egos.
But tonight, I wasn’t an aviator, or a wizzo. I was just a girl who wanted a drink and absolutely nothing to do with my call-sign.
“Now, please do tell me what a pretty lady like you is doing all alone at a bar like this?” One of the men, a blonde one with the smell of overwhelming aftershave on him.
“Oh, a man of your stature know’s everything doesn’t he,” I peeked at his name tag, “Lieutenant.” I said, taking the a cherry out of a glass of maraschinos Penny left me.
“I wouldn’t say everything, but I would say that I know exactly how to spot a damsel from the window of an F/A-18” He said, hailing Penny over, “Get this Iady a drink on my tab”
“Sir, you have open a tab before you can order drinks on it. Unless you’re trying to set the world record for the fastest game of strip poker to ever take place on a Navy base, which from my personal experience is quite hard to do.” Penny said, taking the credit card he handed her and setting up the tab.
“Oh come on Bagman, give her a rest,” A dark haired woman, also in uniform said, stepping between me and the man with an obviously stupid call-sign.
“Just trying to give the lady what she wants, Phoenix. Cool your jets babe.” The man said, and I was just bracing for her to sock him in the nose.
“Lady speaking here. I think I can order my own drinks, thank you for your consideration though. I really appreciate it.” I downed my martini and stood up from my stool on the bar and walked over to the piano.
I taught myself how to play piano in middle school, and my mother encouraged me to get in lessons when I was in high school. Helps with dexterity, I guess. The hand eye coordination is helpful in our line of work.
The keys felt like second nature as I quietly sang the verses to one of my favorite songs.
“Watchin' every motion in my foolish lover's game…On this endless ocean, finally lovers know no shame…Turning and returning to some secret place inside…”
I heard some bustling behind me as the door opened…
“Watchin' in slow motion as you turn around and say”
“Take my breath away” I heard a voice from beside me sing along..
I looked up and saw a man wearing a Hawaiian shirt leaned up against the piano. Aviators hung loosely on the collar of his wife beater, and mustached upper lip quirked up in a small smile.
“How yah doin’ piano man” He said, gesturing to my hands, still on the keys.
He sat down beside me on the bench as I watched his hands float down to rest on the keys up the octave from me. It seemed that he knew the piece as well, and started to play the rest of the piece on the other end of the piano.
“Take my breath away…” he sang, looking over to me, as I continued to play the version of the melody I remembered, while he played a bit more improvised version of the same thing.
We sang through some of the song as our fingers danced across the keys together.
“My love, take my breath away….” We sang out together as a bit of a crowd gathered around the piano.
I kept my eyes trained on the piano as his hands grew closer to find as the song came to a close, We played the final chord, and his hand landed on top of mine.
“So do you do that with all the girls or just the musicians?”
“Most of the time I’m the one who starts out at the piano, so this certainly is a change of pace.” He said as I lifted to my head my my gaze on the keys to meet his.
I met his eyes as he made eye contact with me. He had nice eyes, kind and trustworthy ones.
I felt a weight on my hand and realize his hand was still rested on mine.
“Let me buy you a drink.” He said, lifting my hand up off the piano to lead me over to the bar. I usually wouldn’t welcome his advances, but maybe the martini was helping him out a bit.
