Shaolong is the emo looking dude on the left, Sweet S. Is the pink girl on the right. They’re former enemies - he was a villain and she’s one of the five members on her superhero team

Canon info:

They’ve fought before but didn’t interact one-on-one much, even after he reformed

Until they were paired up for one assignment in the Superhero League and are walking together. Sweet S wants to make conversation

And she’s a horror fan, so she jumps at the chance to tell him a scary story when he says he’s never heard one before. Her eyes are all sparkly and stuff and he’s like "ok, go off"

And they end up having a horror adventure together where they’re running away from a ghost. He’s scared shitless but she’s like “omg this is just like the Ring!😍”

They get paired up again, this time as opponents. They must fight to win a spot in the Superhero Alliance

In the past, Shaolong basically bodied Sweet S and her other four teammates. Now it’s just her vs. him; shes in for a tough fight.

Shaolong wins, but gains newfound respect for Sweet S

(The fight was lame tbh cuz of animation budget or whatever but my brain keeps cooking up animatics of my own version)

My Headcanons:

After that, they start hanging out more and it turns out they get along surprisingly well

Shaolong even tries her cooking, knowing how bad it is. She gives him puppy dog eyes and he can’t say no.

He likes to listen to her talk about her friends, previous adventures, and various other things.

However, he’s hesitant to talk about himself, especially his villainous past. Sweet S looks forward to a day where Shaolong reunites with his estranged parent, who he cut ties with after he became evil. vvv
