If I can ramble for a bit:

I think Connor would thrive on physical touch but hes been too stubborn to ever fully indulge in it. And Spencer would be gentle (sort of like Nico) and wait to see if Connor will ever ask for what he needs.

Spoiler alert: he does not

So after a rough loss Spencer walks Connor up to his apartment and he can see how Connor is on the edge of a drop. He sits on Connors couch and Connor carefully sits on the other end but Spencer can see how Connors hands are shaking and his breath is coming out like a rabbit.

Normally he wouldnt do it but Spencer says fuck it and drags Connor onto his lap and holds him. It only takes a second for Connors shoulders to drop and turn his face into Spencers neck and tentatively wrap his arms around Spencer

Eyeing this to see if I can work something like it into my current fic...

Ooh have I even said here that I'm writing them in the Where You Lead 'verse for Hockey Trumps Hate? (Maybe I have! I forget things sometimes!) But YES it is rare that I jump on board with a pairing this early in its fandom journey like this but I love them so much. Spencer being all well-spoken and mature with his own journey through mental health under his belt. Connor being single-minded and stubborn and uninterested in anything that doesn't directly further his hockey ability. But not being able to resist Spencer's quiet authority. I am just so here for it. 🥰

Ahahaha that ship name is TERRIBLE and also I love this. I'm gonna put this in a story if Trevor gets traded and all our dreams come true (I mean, the dreams I've had as of half an hour ago when this first occurred to me).

Speaking of Quinn Hughes I saw someone posted a rumor the Canucks were interested in Trevor Zegras and someone commented "if he goes to Vancouver someone needs to check on Quinn" 😂😂😂

Hahaha if Trevor goes to the Canucks I'm going to write so much of Quinn pretending to be annoyed by Trevor to cover up his secret crush while also simultaneously feeling superior to his little brother's best friend and (incorrectly) thinking Trevor's out of his league. And Trevor who still feels rejected by Jamie not wanting to stay together after the first trade and talking too much to cover up fundamental insecurities and calling Quinn a dork but secretly thinking he's a worthier human being than Trevor will ever be and posting too many thirst traps to make up for it. It would be FERTILE GROUND, is what I'm saying.
