Forgot where I read it but someone on here said that John’s arm would be fucked up because he’s taking the brunt of whatever he’s doing with the shield with that arm constantly, so much so the serum doesn’t really heal it completely. And considering that’s also the arm Sam and Bucky broke in FATWS I’d imagine it isn’t even properly healed from that.

It always annoys me when people say that love is just a series of chemical reactions in your brain, like yeah so what? Bob giving up control of his life to the physical embodiment of his depression and then beating himself up over it and the void just becoming more powerful as a result is such a perfect metaphor. like yeah, that's exactly how it is, you can't beat depression with self-loathing, you need support and purpose and the people you love and loves you. they pulled it off beautifully

I truly feel that the MCU robbed us of Bucky content. The way he was just pushed to the wayside after Civil War has always bugged me. He was such a vital character to Roger’s trilogy, but was never treated as such. He deserved his own show or movie about his time as the Winter Soldier, and what he went through under Hydra. The fact that we never really got to see him and Steve interact after Civil War also irritates me to no end.

Marvel really wasted a character with so much potential to explore the darker themes around the earlier MCU phases.
