Can I be pretty? Will this powder change my face into someone new? . . . I have decided to start a series of Senryū poems that will go along with my makeup looks. A Senryū is in the same form as Haiku (5-7-5 syllable count) but focuses more on human experience rather than nature and the seasons. It also doesn't contain a Kireji or "cutting word" like Haiku. The small form lends itself so well to instagram and daily writing, that it seems like a good fit. The picture is of my pocket mirror resting on my office windowsill.
