         He stared offended at the human. A chimera? Him? How rude. He was a god, not some crossfused overevolved animal. What a fool. He better correct him before he gets any other bad ideas.          “Perhaps you need to get your eyes checked. I am not a chimera.”

     Of course, this was the only reasonable explanation his experience threw at him. Some cross of human and animal that resulted in elongated ears. He’d seen something similar. It was, however, still rare out in the open like this.

         So that’s what this is about then? The human boy whom she had fallen in love with? What a silly thing to do. Her resolve was clearly strong, altough annoying. Several times she had brought up the boy, and she kept on doing it, despite his efforts to convince her he’s dead. He let out a sigh before responding.          “Alright. What about him?”

Her smile appeared to be a ｖａｉｎ attempt to remain calm, but the twitching of her fingers told a different story. She was angry – distraught. The smile she held was close to 𝕓𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕜𝕚𝕟𝕘, but she held it nevertheless. It was then that she spoke once more. Allowing the name to slip. It came as a whisper, but just loud enough for someone nearby to hear.
