Serious question: What makes farming sims like Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon good to play story-wise and gameplay-wise?

What is Catonio ?

Catonio is a 2d platformer made in unity where you play as a spoiler house cat whose owner comes home late one day and so you have to go find him and face all kinds of enemies
