The way everyone at school is getting angrier. Very concerning.

Storming out of class after something upsetting is understandable but slamming your head into a door so hard that it bleeds is not.

Like the idea of an anxiety version of a rage is SO mechanically interesting and i think if you pair it with Adaine's panic attack homebrew it would be really fun and difficult to play with.

Like maybe the idea that as you manage your panic attack condition, you can go into a Fear-type frenzy on purpose as a way to channel your anxiety?

like i JUST processed Tula and Lyla and now you demand MORE of me???

having two campaigns back to back (burrows end and fhjy) tackle the deep complexity of being an eldest daugher and how that changes you and affects your actions for the rest of your life is truly a targeted attack on me personally

Hot take maybe, but I truly think it's better that Kristen is running for student president instead of Riz. Yeah it sucks that he doesn't really get all the credit for the work he's doing, but Kristen absolutely has a better chance at beating Kipperlilly.

So here's my gift for @bitemarx for @d20exchange!! I know you said you like character analysis so I decided to use the inspiration I got from this post by @littlebitofdnd and create this drawing based on Gerard's own helplessness. He holds the keys to free himself but would being free be any better than drowning at the bottom of the lake? Plus, as they said in the post, Gerard believes he deserves it so would he really leave anyway?

I wanna rant a little bit more about the details in the drawing so that'll be under the cut along with a version of the art without the water effects! Anyway, I hope you liked the gift!!

I decided to depict Gerard sitting on a pile of trash at the bottom of the ocean as a nod to Gerard's lack of self-worth! It's meant to look a bit like a throne so that the silhouette along with the paper crown would be a representation of this illusion of being this handsome fairy tale prince that Gerard continues to hold onto! He's in the middle of a transformation now, still holding onto being human (again, fairy tale prince) but not quite there. He'll never have quite the look he believes he needs to pull off. I also decided to put a sword next to him as a nod to the sword of truth and his connection with Elody along with the Golden Ball on his chain and in his hands representing that as well. Finally, he does have the keys to the chains around his neck, with nothing stopping him from grabbing them, except the fact he has no better place to go and he'd have to let go of the Golden Ball, Elody, in the process as well as leave his makeshift throne. He has all the keys to his happiness, he just can't seem to let go of what was supposed to be his happy ending! :)

I think, in a world where Geoffery is alive, Tula still fucks Bennett, but the three of them get very polycule very quickly. We don't actually know Geoffery's personality but if he wanted to date Tula in her hoe phase, he woulda tapped Bennett, and thats that.

BURROWS END EPISODE NINE SPOILERS

Tula's monologue before healing Lukas made me fucking sob like a baby.

They made a lot of jokes throughout the season about Tula being different before she married Geoffery and had Lila and Jaysohn, but I think the idea that her fear of losing her children - or not being able to protect them. or hurting them - is what killed her ability to be curious and to hope and to be optimistic.

It also sheds light on Geoffery's death. If - and I think it's a big if - we buy into the idea that Geoffery died because he didn't want what Tula wanted, it wasn't that he didnt love his kids as much as Tula, it's that he was curious about the humans and that curiosity was sated, so he was able to die in peace.

Tangentially related but I love that we don't know how or why Geoffery died. We don't need to. The only thing the narrative asks of us is that we accept that he is gone, and the characters believe it was the humans. Aabria doesn't describes a body, and neither does Brennan. He could have been shot down and bleeding or he could have had a stroke and we'll never know, we never will, and we don't have to.
