it's just so crazy that if tobio was accepted into shiratorizawa he would probably never fully handle the rejection he faced in middle school. sure, ushijima would be someone amazing to set to, but would tobio actually be able to grow as a setter AND person? would he have a senpai like suga who happily offers support and advice? would he have a captain like daichi who's stern yet someone you can depend on? would he have takeda who can uplift him in the best possible ways with incredible advice? WOULD HE HAVE HINATA SHOYO WHO TAUGHT KAGEYAMA TOBIO WHAT IT MEANS TO HAVE A TRUE PARTNER?

without karasuno, tobio would never have grown at the incredible rate it did. it wasn't simply because of the coaching but because kageyama tobio dared to forgive his past self and move forward. now tobio can proudly claim the title "king of the court" because of shoyo and karasuno. tobio was always meant to find his way back to shoyo and it led to him finding a family with karasuno <3
