OOC: Okay I haven’t been active in like,,, a month,,,

and I wanna apologize for that but my motivation has been,,, down the drain for roleplaying. I’m trying to focus more on my channel and school so it’s pushing me away from roleplaying for the time being.

Until I get some motivation back, I’m just gonna be on full hiatus for a while. I’ll come back when my muse returns.

the longer the days are dragging on, the more frustrated soleana feels.

they’ve barely gone anywhere in their research.

big cat’s paw is still wrapped in bandages, and it’s still situated in the lab with her. as if they were quarantined too.

unable to access her devices, soleana almost feels herself going mad. what is she supposed to do other than sit here and provide information through mouth?

she’s getting bored. she’s getting angry. why is it taking so long?

why won’t they let her help too?

soleana had never really thought about that… she’s been so focused on conquering regions, she never actually sat down to think about… what she’d do if she ever finished doing that.

Some of you have already been in the first round–but to make it brief:  this account is a semi-automated question generator that asks random blogs random questions about their muses!

The point is:  reblog this post to get yourself added onto the list, to show me that you’re ok with receiving questions, and to get even more people aware of the process.  I’ll still seek out blogs on my own, but you can do this to expedite the process!

soleana is met face to face by guards as soon as she gets near the wyndon research lab. she can’t help feeling anxious, but she has to get in.

* | “ i’d like to meet with the head researcher at this building. whoever’s working on the cure for this virus. i don’t care who it is, i want to be taken to them now. ”

* | “ i’m afraid we can’t do that ma’am. ”

one speaks up, shaking their head.

* | “ not without valid reason. ”

soleana sighs, fumbling with her belt. guess she has no real choice. she snaps a pokeball off, and presses the button.

out of the ball emerges her solgaleo, its jaws opening wide in a yawn. when it finishes, it glares down, both at soleana and at the two guards at the door.

* | “ i think i have the answer to the cure. in two ways. ”

she pulls out a small bag off her belt, untying the top of it, and dumping some of what was inside into her palm. it was...

...dirt? 

...dirt mixed with blood. it was the hatterene blood and the black substance she had found in the ground.

* | “ i want to take these to the lab for analysis. this could help with the cure efforts. if you don’t let me in, then you might lose your chance to fix this thing, and it could get worse. really, you should be taking all the help you can get. ”

* | “ ...we’ll have to test you for infection first. ”

* | “ if i was infected, i think i’d be running with my head between my legs away from my solgaleo. big cat has the highest affection on my team. from that report just a few days ago, it said most infected trainers will scramble away from their pokemon like prey running from a predator. same thing should apply to me. ”

* | “ while that’s true, we still need to test you ma’am. you could have not developed symptoms and still have the virus. ”

* | “ ugh, fine. can you just take me inside already? ”

* | “ woah- ”

soleana forces big cat to a stop as they come across something in the ground. her eyes narrow, pupils dilating with interest as she slid off the large pokemon’s back.

her feet hit the ground and she knelt down, but still kept her knees off the ground.

is that... blood?

it isn’t a normal color for blood... it’s black, mixed with something blue, and sparkling. only a few droplets were still on the surface, most of it having sunk into the dry dirt, fading into it.

what could this...

she pulls her pokedex out of her pocket, sliding it open and letting the scanner roll over the sight before her. as if it’ll do something... she wants to trust that it will.

eventually, something does happen. the pokedex lights up, showing the dex entry for hatterene, now detailing biological information on the pokemon, including a close up image of its blood and type. blue and sparkling...

why is there hatterene blood here..? and is that black substance actually blood?

* | " this is taylen spay reporting to you live from the containment lab in wyndon. we have reports that yet another case has been confirmed for the infection. one of the strongest opponents theyve seen, the teams located in this lab have managed to contain a pokemon trainer infected by the virus, who has become fused with a hatterene. "

the camera cuts to a shaky footage from within the glimwood tangle, hidden behind a tree. the camera pokes out, as a figure stomps across the ground. it looks just like a normal trainer, but its arms seem like hatterene tendrils. in its back there is a gaping hole, a black liquid oozing from it onto the ground. the person behind the camera gasps, and it freezes. 

slowly, very slowly, it turns its head... its bright purple eyes glare into the camera, and from its back comes a tendril like a hatterene's, covered in the black ooze. the figure turns toward the person, and lets out an earsplitting screech before the camera is knocked away from the person, its screen cracking in the process as it spirals into a tree, and lands on its root, pointing to the figure and the person. 

the person tries to run, only for the ooze covered tendril to clamp around their leg. it seems to tighten, and a crack echoes through the tangle. the person shrieks in pain, and begins to sob, their wailing continuing as they claw against the ground, while the tendril drags them back. the being screams again, its mouth seeming to tear its face as the footage cuts out, the cracks on the camera worsening before it does so. 

* | " while the camera person did not survive, the screams of them and the shrieking of the infected alerted our forces, and it was contained within this lab. authorities state this is the strongest case they have come across so far. “

* | “ what goes on inside is top secret, unfortunately, so we may not show you where it is contained, but-- " 

glass shatters behind her. the steel door window behind the newscaster was broken, and an ooze covered tendril slinked through. it went to grab her, but fell short. 

 * | " oh dear arceus RUN! " 

 she screamed. the camera points down to the ground, watching the cameraman's feet as they run with taylen, and the show cuts to commercial.

* | “ this is newscaster taylen reporting to you from the wyndon news station. ”

* | “ authorities have authorized a complete lockdown of galar as a whole; all flying taxi trips have been delayed and cancelled, any ships or planes going in or out of the region have been turned away, and a curfew is heavily encouraged. ”

* | “ as of this morning, we have reports that the farmer and infected wooloo of the previous pokemon attack have both gone missing from containment at the hospital and the wyndon research lab. eye witnesses claim to have spotted the two ‘fused’ together on the outskirts of the city, but were unable to confirm where it was going, or if it was actually the individuals in question. ”

* | “ as of this afternoon, it has become heavily encouraged that people only leave their homes if it is an emergency. forces will be patrolling each city in the region, including the wild areas, to find infected individuals and pokemon for testing and cure research. it is heavily recommended that individuals who already report feeling sick, or have any other illness, should be rushed to a hospital as quickly as possible to be put under quarantine. in this scenario, no matter how long the disease has affected someone, you need to be safe, and you need to be quarantined. ”

* | “ infected individuals should be neutralized if already ‘fused’ with a pokemon, or show signs of extreme aggression, and fatigue. ”

soleana flips off the tv, tapping the edge of the remote against her table with a huff.

* | “ it’s not kanto, but it sure brings trouble, doesn’t it... ”

a lot of things seem to revolve around this region lately, and now there’s yet another. she rolls a pokeball around with her pointer finger on the table, foot tapping one of the table legs...

her finger glides over the button of the pokeball, gently pressing it. out emerges her solgaleo into the living room, ducking down to keep from touching the ceiling, though its mane brushed against it.

* | “ lets go outside, big cat. you gotta go the long way since you’re out. have fun out there. i’ll meet you at the front door. ”

the pokemon nods to her, trying to be careful to step around the living room, knocking over a lamp and moving the tv on its way out toward its room.

soleana sighs, walking to put the lamp back on the table and replug it in, and put the tv back into place, before she heads out the front door.

uh oh! it’s mun’s birthday! yknow what that means? event time!~ there have been 2 posts posted already relating to the event, but now, people are able to participate! so then...

welcome to the pokevirus event, a cross-region pokepocalypse, starting off in galar! warning other regions: you aint safe yet!

this event has been organized to be, in total, over the span of a month, and has been in the works for a full month!

this event begins today, march 5th, and will end on april 3rd: a whole 30 days of the pokepocalypse!

anyone is free to participate, though i will drop some warnings!

this event may have potentially triggering topics. if you’re uncomfortable with things like body horror, gore, or experimentation, then maybe this isn’t the event for you. if you don’t mind/you’re not going to be a major player in those kinds of triggers, then don’t worry!

for all things related to the event, feel free to join the discord server HERE! please only join if you’re going to be participating throughout the month! the link is set to never expire, so don’t worry if you can’t join right away.

the last 3 days into april are going to be spent on cure related and event ending posts, so don’t worry about a lack of participation on those last few days!

* | “ this morning, terror broke loose at the wyndon research lab. just yesterday, a wooloo had been restrained and captured, brought to this lab for testing for an apparent virus that it had caught. where from, the source has currently not yet been disclosed. ”

* | “ the wooloo broke free, and mauled one of the scientists, causing a lockdown at the facility. authorities report that the wooloo escaped containment, but was not able to leave the building. the scientist in question has been put into quarantine, out of fear of the virus spreading. the wooloo at the current moment appears to still be on the run, and the facility is working on keeping it contained, unsure what could happen if this situation continues. ”

* | “ in other news, a farmer that had been the owner of the wooloo has been found in a comatose condition. he appears to twitch and shake as he rests, as doctors have reported, and fear that the virus the wooloo had contracted was spread onto the individual. ”

* | “ a simple name has been given to this virus; the pokevirus. it currently appears to only affect pokemon, but as mentioned previously, authorities and doctors alike are in fear of a potential cross species transfer due to injuries suffered by uninfected individuals, caused by infected pokemon. ”

* | “ authorities say the best course of action to protect yourself and your pokemon is to stop the use of physical pokemon moves, and to stay inside. it is said that physical moves that can cause grave injury are the ones they are most concerned about, specifically moves having to use the mouth, or ones that require claws or sharp horns. the current moves banned from use include the following. “

* | “ we’re getting reports here that a wild pokemon has been captured and contained, and is currently being transported to the wyndon research lab for testing. ”

* | “ eye witnesses state for several days now, a farmer in postwick was reported taking one of his wooloo to the wedgehurst pokemon research lab, and frequenting the pokemon center for healing by the nurse. the nurse states the pokemon appeared to have a rare ailment that she wasn’t quite sure how to fix. ”

* | “ the nurse states while her devices were able to heal the pokemon of its moves, and quiet down its illness, it was a constant reappearance that she, unfortunately, could not fix. ”

* | “ as of this morning, said owner of the wooloo has been labelled in critical condition after an apparent attack within his home by the wooloo. a home nearby confessed hearing what sounded like stomping, and a loud scream from within the house of the owner. afterwards, authorities were called. ”

* | “ police state the owner had locked himself in a closet, while the wooloo continued to tackle the door. it was unable to break, but the pokemon had to be restrained upon capture, as it tried to tackle and bite one of the officers. ”

* | “ authorities say the situation is under control, and will release the results of the testing once completed. ”

OOC: Not really much of a surprise but,,, I’ve been pretty much dead for Pokemon muses.

I got into Pro.m.are recently, and,,, I might have a Lio muse, so he’s totally replaced all the rest.

That being said, I’m going on hiatus for a bit!

I plan to return around my birthday (March 5th), so prepare for some chaos around then!

EXAMINE : BIG CAT

big cat is your solgaleo. your most trusted companion. you aren’t entirely sure why you chose its name still, but it has stuck, and it appears attached to it.

its coat is very soft to the touch, warm around the brightest parts of its glimmering body. 

its mouth stretches wide in a yawn, not seeming to mind your hand against his fur, as it can barely feel it anyways. the pokemon is twice the size of you, after all.

it lays down with a loud thud, its head resting against the ground, mane stretching against it as it tilts, laying on the ground as if it were a fuzzy blanket. its eyes shut, and it seems to murmur a purr as they close.

a smile comes to your face as you lift its master ball into your hand. you press they button against its surface, and face it towards the pokemon. it is engulfed in red light, and shrinks back into the pokeball, shutting with a click.

...you can’t help but wonder what such power is contained within this pokemon. you wish to know more about its home as well.

soleana considers both versions of her handwriting to be very messy, but her normal is the messiest. her letters are usually overly big and spaced out, so she can’t fill up pages with as many words due to the size.

her signature is no different, only her letters are more pressed together. she considers her signature much neater, and she prefers to write in cursive rather than plain.
