I know that some of my followers are OUAT RPers and I want you all to stay safe when RPing. I noticed one of my mutual followers had been getting hate and posted about some issues she, a friend, and yet another RPer were having with a certain player who has in the past played in the OUAT fandom. Knowing many of you are multi-fandom RPers, and that this player could play a OUAT character again in future, I thought it wise to post all of the information that’s been posted about this other player.

The Abusive RPer

Blatant Plagiarism of another person’s muse

Guilt tripping people when they wished to drop a thread or did not reply in what she considered a timely fashion (even if it had only been one day she’d been waiting for the reply).

Passive aggressive posts clearly aimed at hurting or sending a message to certain players.

Being abusive towards other players.

Bad mouthing partners behind their backs to other partners.

Treating partners like objects not people.

Victim blaming.

Never apologizing even months later.

Painting herself as a victim.

Sending (potentially with the help of friends) hate to the original victim of her plagiarism as well as someone who stood up for the victim.

Basically she’s just an abusive RP partner.

A response posted after Tamara posted this and this. Tamara basically lies about apologizing, paints herself as the victim again, passively blames the url posting and new posts about issues with her on her original victim (who’s posted nothing since the incident months ago). An FYI for everyone, plagiarism is never a “major misunderstanding” as she chalks it up to being, it’s actually a crime if someone has legal copyright and a dick move in general. Also to address her cyber bullying claims, by legal definition (it’s the Canadian one that popped up first, I guess they’re the leading nation on the issue?) she has not been cyber bullied. No one sent her mean or threatening messages, posted embarrassing (nude) pictures of her, created a site all about her, etc.

Note: As others have said, we aren’t saying that you can’t RP with her or that you shouldn’t. We also aren’t saying she acts this way with everyone she RPs with, but that she has with others in the past. We are saying that you should know what this person has done to others in the past before you make a decision one way or the other if you want to associate with them.

My Ripped-Off Characters

All right, last night I posted about someone having ripped-off one of my characters, tonight I’m going to be a little more vocal about the issue. The last two times this happened, I let it slide, and it happened again, so this time, I’m holding the plagiarist accountable for her actions. I would have been more than willing to deal with this issue privately, however the person who ripped-off my muses is denying she did so, and is even insisting she neither follows nor knew about one of the muses in question, which is a lie as she’s currently following the muse.

I’d like to make clear that this post is not meant to publicly shame, or warn people away from this player, I believe we are all free to make our own choices in life. This post is meant to hold the other role-player accountable for her actions and to warn others about this player’s behaviour so that they know what they may be getting themselves into.
