Chloe Bourgeois was never a good person

Okay so I am going to say this once.

She's a terrible person from start to end. Everything she ever did was solely either to hurt Marinette or someone who upset her. The few times she was nice was either to win Adrien back after he expressed the opinion of ending their friendship because of HER being terrible to the Akuma Class. That one scene of her shielding Sabrina was nice but that's small potatoes compared to: Bullying , nearly causing a fatal train incident for clout, sided with a Hawkmoth after losing the BEE because SHE BROKE THE RULES! Instead of learning from this, she sided with the villain and put the team in jeopardy. Then continues being a bully, sides with Lila for a get back. Never apologized to Adrien, Sabrina, Zoe or Marinette. Her last words in S5 was rubbing in Marinette's face that Adrien was moving to London, knowing Marinette loves Adrien.

That's Chloe in a nutshell. A selfish child who only doubled down. Before you start the whole "it's the writers fault for hating Chloe". She's a character they wrote. That is what she is in canon. You cannot cherry pick her actions. Any kindness she express was always to get something, whether to keep Adrien or the BEE. Her being kind to keep the Bee means she's not kind for the sake of kindness. It's to get something.

And stop the "everyone abandoned her" shit. Marinette , Adrien , Sabrina, and Zoe gave her many chances when they didn't have to and she still was terrible to them. It's not their job to coddle her into being kind because that's not how it works.

Lukanette was better and Adrienette were barely friends before dating.

I've been re-watching MLB and man.. I wish the writers didn't spin the wheel and waste time with Marinette regressing back and forth and just had Mari give up on Adrien in S3 and pursue Luka in honesty. Even if they weren't endgame, the writing would have benefitted so much from Marinette truly just being a friend to Adrien and growing with Luka because she can actually talk to him and wasn't jealous of others around him.

Loving Adrien has always made Marinette worst. Keeping life changing secrets, the jealously , obsession. None of this was a problem with Luka.

Heck the more I think about it, Adrien was seemly a better/closer friend to Kagami after their breakup than he ever was to Marinette. Like he could have deep convos about his father with Kagami, also goof off. Pre-Dating Adrien really wasn't that close to Marinette, which is the fault of the writers since they had Marinette act stupid when she within 300ft of Adrien. They only seemed to end up in scenes for teasing and ship moments and then it would be like it never happened.

So much backwards writing and endless retcons for the sake of drama. Like Sublimation..

I know that Rose is Marinette's nice personality split from herself but what about the others?

Ayla- is nosiness

Juleka- depression

Alix- tombody

Lila- lies and manipulative when needed

Chloe- snark and condescending "holier than thou"

Mylene- Timidness/ Shyness

Zoe-???

Marinette has all of these traits

Can I say this about Marinette's NPCs (Alya, Alix, Zoe, etc)? All of them are just her split personalities that she split from her side.

That...actually makes a lot of sense.

Because if the roles were reverse and Adrien treated Marinette like Marinette treats Adrien then nobody would screech "TRAUMA"!

Nope the fandom would treat him like they did with Chat Noir and call him names and never gave him a pass for his behaviour towards Ladybug.

MLB S6 Sublimation 

I'm going to say this once.

Anyone who is defending Marinette stalking Sublime by saying it's "stress" is an idiot. Stress makes people do a lot of things. Hell once Marinette was stressed in Gang of Secrets, that didn't lead to her stalking Adrien.

The writers regressed her character back to a stalker because they need a monster of the week to occur and they have no one else to use. No Chloe, No Felix, No Gabe, No Tomoe, No Lila openly pissing people off or playing mind games.

Stalkernette was done better in S3 because it was never used as a shit defense, it was just her being her and jealous of other girls. Which is not fine but hey she wasn't dating him at the time. Stalkernette ended because for once the plot didn't defend her behaviour and hit her with karma by making an enemy out of Lila and getting Adrigami together. Two things that only happened because she abused her powers as Ladybug and interfered with Adrien's life. Actual consequences that stuck and Marinette learned from it. She backed off. Grew up a bit.

Now they have regressed her into stalking a double amputee (holy shit) who's giving no red flags other than the ones in Marinette's head of jealously. Same red flags she had about Kagami who was fine and Tomoe was the issue.

The episode even ends with Marinette realizing she was wrong.

So no, there is no excuse and fuck the writers for writing this nonsense. This time could have been used for anything better.

Well I have seen season 6 and boyyyyy...

He is the most bland, milquetoast character I have ever seen. This guy is suppose to be the second lead to this story and he's just bland. He's a whole orphan, living with Nathalie (who was loyal to Mothman). Where the hell is Felix? Why is he and his mother not there for Adrien??? WTF is wrong with the writers?

Oh and Marinette, this girl. Trash, just trash. Her whole behaviour in Sublime is inexcusable and should have ended with Sublime telling Mari to fuck off and Adrien ending things with her because WTF was that? Mari has Adrien, she doesn't need to tweak out over any girl being friends with Adrien. Did she not learn anything from Kagami???

Trash, this season is trash and should have ended in season 5.

Hot take: I am okay with Aziraphale and Crowley not ending up together

Hear me out.

I get these two have so much together, from stopping the Apocalypse and now what's going on with Metatron. But! these two really need to spend less time together. Azira needs to stop chiding Crowley for being a demon. He's a bloody demon and that's never going to change. He needs to stop starting shit then expecting Crowley to put life and limb out. While Crowley will do that anyways , it's not cool to put his life at risk on lark for only Azira's benefit.

Crowley, hunny.

He needs to just be a demon without issues. He doesn't need an angel in his ear giving him grief when it points out the facts that humans are cruel on their own. He just needs a friend that doesn't feel the need to insult him on the basis of being a bloody demon when compared to the angels in heaven Crowley should be saint. He needs to just be.

These are great but boy do that have too many issues together and it wouldn't be a bad thing for GO to end with them parting ways to enjoy the fruits of their labor after THAT conversation. Azira spending his days reading and Crowley with a glass of scotch and driving through the world with no burdens.

I skip over their parts in the book every time because they add nothing to the story and there are better ways of adding to Anathema's backstory.

Also the s*x scene in the Book is trash and was not needed. Newt reeks of a OC character.

Hot Take: 1992! GO is not that bad

So I know this script is the stuff of hell and hellfire but I'm going to be honest. I really fuck with it. I like that there's no Shadwell or Newt, nobody's favorite character. Honestly I found those two characters just to be filler, and annoying. Skip over their part every time I re-read GO.

I like that Crowley is a proper demon who absolutely is spot on about humans for the most part. The clowns and Satan crack me up and I much prefer that over the bike riding horsemen. IFYYK about what Anathema does in 1992, it's so freaking metal.

It's corny with Crowley and the club, imps waiting drinks and just the sleaze of a 1990s thriller movie mixed with clique hell motifs like black candles to talk to hell. I love it. Like a bad spin off of Devil's Advocate.

Maybe it's because I don't care either way if Crowley and Azi end up as a couple but I much prefer the slightly nuttiness of 1992 GO. Though I will always have a soft heart for Sir Pratchett's quips in the Book!GO. I think the 1992 GO has good bones, just needs some tweaking.

Adrien Salt 2

Now that we have season 6 to look forward to. I am going to say this:

I will always dislike Adrien, mostly because the writer's absolutely defend his shit ways.

He never apologized to Kagami after Protection even though her anger was valid because like duh: Adrien is dating her best friend and treats her sooooo much better than he ever did with Kagami. I'm not agreeing that Kagami should have attacked Mari but her anger at Adrien...valid af. He still never apologized and the writers pinned the blame on Kagami for being mad.

The irony of Thomas having Adrien taking Felix's place in the original story is funny because Felix is a far better character than Adrien. Yea Felix is a manipulative tool but he stands up the people he cares about.

Saw Kagami being treated like shit: Helped her to see that she deserved better. Not agreeing with kidnapping though.

Adrien seeing Mari being treated like shit by everyone: some soft words then nothing till it affected their dating.

WFT. Shit, if they had leaned into Adrien being an apathetic person who has to learn to care then it would have been better writing but that is not what they did. The story never holds him into account for being dismissive

I'm going to be honest. I feel so vindicated at the shit end that is JJK. Don't get me wrong. I like JJK, as in the Anime and music and the fandom.

All those ntez yapping about reading comprehension as an insult when I didn't agree with Gege's writing choices.. lol I was so right. Walls of text about theories and meaning.. went nowhere. Yujo, went nowhere. The world of JJK is now worse than before.

So yes I do have reading comprehension skills, and the writing sucked. With a few exceptions.

LiS: Double Exposure story issue.

I think the devs not picking a proper canon ending to LiS1 is going to come back around and bite them in the new game because we don't know if any fan favorites will be able to return. And never mind the elephant that is Chloe. If Chloe is alive then that means Kate, Victoria and even Nathan and Joyce are dead. And if Chloe is dead...shippers won't be happy.

Argue all you want but I am team Bay> Bae. It would play so much better in the sequel narratively. I don't consider the comics canon or the other LiS games because Double Exposure is a direct sequel to the first one.

Adrien Salt

The more and more I watch Miraculous Ladybug, the more I come to really dislike Adrien. Here's my gripe: He claimed to have feelings for Mari for a while and yet did nothing to stop Chloe or Lila from bullying her. Hell even before when they were just friends...Adrien did nothing and pretty much only intervened with the drama after they dated.

He saw with his own eyes all the shit they pulled with Mari and not a word or was forgiving of Chloe. Neverminded the whole "be the bigger person" junk when dealing with Lila, even though he saw Lila destroy Mari's whole friend circle and got her in trouble with her family. Lord if I was Mari, Chameleon would have killed all the Adrien love in a heartbeat.
