✮studying late on the weekend is such a gratifying experience.
˚✧i love roaming through the empty halls and finding a spot just for me
࣪✧˖°it feels sacred and forbidden—like i shouldn’t be there because no one else is. Yet i go on˚✧
★˚✧nothing is more gratifying than studying at this point in my life.
-˚✧ i love being a student. when i study it is like a blissful escape from the world around me. i am so grateful to have the privilege to study✮⋆˙

★ i’m going through a really difficult breakup right now and it’s affecting all other aspects of my life.

The past couple of days have been super busy, I went to a book fair and I also went again to a hike with llamas and alpacas, and had a lovely time. This week will generally be quite busy and chaotic, since I have a lot of stuff to do and places to be. I have some positive academic news, because the professor I emailed finally answered saying she would like me to attend the new lectures I was interested in, but didn't know if I could add to my course list, which is great. If she hadn't agreed with this I would have had to self study for a huge exam with materials I wasn't too interested in. As for what I am currently working on, I am still in the reading and annotating phase of the Sabaudian states history book. I keep struggling with the writing and going slower than I'd like, but I am still making progress. I am more or less half way into the book so that's not too bad. I can't really say when I'll be done but hopefully by the end of the month I'll be able to move onto other things.
productivity list:
read first thing in the morning
continued reading and writing notes for the history of Sabaudian states book I am reading
started looking into materials for other classes I'll be taking this year
updated my reading journal
worked in the afternoon
duolingo
continued working on my crochet project
📖: Questioni Di Un Certo Genere by Il Post, Interworld by Neil Gaiman
📺: Lost (I have been rewatching it for a couple of weeks ans I am having such a great time. I watched it for the first and only time almost 10 years ago so I didn't remember much, and I am having an amazing rewatch experience)

Oxford Bridge of Sighs.
One of my most cherished memories is the day I visited Oxford. Until then, it had only been something I experienced through books, movies, and the university debates I’d followed from afar. Being there in person felt surreal. I recall eating at a local restaurant where the staff mistakenly —or entirely intentionally, who knows— assumed we were students. That moment made me realise that what once felt like a distant, unattainable, almost fictional world was, in fact, real and only a few thousand miles away—and entirely within reach, geographically speaking.
