➢ Cuddling with Nishinoya is actually super comfortable!

⤷ he's still super goofy, usually talking about his own day and plans, things that happened to him, and overall just making conversation with you. Even if you're not the talkative kind of person, he loves talking about anything and everything with you!

⤷ he'd let you play with his hair (it's down, guys, it'd be down!) while you both talk about whatever's on your minds, but sometimes, whenever you do that, Nishinoya malfunctions and loses his train of thought.

⤷ random point, but he would immediately slam his body to face the opposite direction whenever he has to sneeze or cough, and sometimes he'd fall off of the bed/couch and crash onto the floor 💀🙏

⤷ he prefers to be facing your direction whenever you two are close, but that's after the beginning stages of the relationship. Early stages? Nishinoya's genuinely concerned that you're actually letting him hold you.

➢ Early stages of the relationship：

⤷ getting comfortable with your touch is slightly difficult. Not that it's uncomfortable, but the fact that he's dreamed of having a girlfriend, and now he finally has one? It's unfathomable; it's almost unreal— YOU'RE UNREAL!

⤷ once, he was in the middle of processing the fact that you're his girlfriend, and then he had those exact thoughts about the fact that you're his girlfriend. How did he deal with them? He unintentionally started a pillow fight with you (at your place) by throwing a pillow at you and screaming about how you're not real because “no way I have a girlfriend?!”

⤷ he later apologized for disturbing your tumblr reading time.

⤷ whenever you guys cuddle, he'd definitely agree to hold your hand and whatnot, maybe put his arm around you, but he's going to have a crisis trying to initiate first without your permission. It's not that he's super shy, but it's just unnatural that he's allowed to be within this close vicinity of a woman.

⤷ once he accepts the fact that you're fine with him holding your hand or hugging you, he'll initiate more often. Like, pretty often, but he's not at 100% yet. He won't kiss yet, though. He's saving them for a fantastical, romantic, and scenic moment.

⤷ but once Nishinoya does get comfortable with physical contact, he's all in. Super cuddles, hugs, handholding, anything that you're comfortable with. It's almost like he's touch-starved by how much he wants to be hugged and held by you (and vice versa, too).

➢ later on in the relationship：

⤷ “yo, it's been a long day...” and then he hugs you. You're his battery now. You've been his battery for a while, but you're now his #1 battery. It doesn't even have to be a cuddle. He just hugs you regardless.

⤷ nonchalantly diving into the bed or the couch the moment he sees you even sit down. Sometimes, he'd look at you sit on the floor, and he's suddenly right there beside you, either laying down on your lap, maybe clinging to your side, or maybe he decided to melt on your back, clinging to you while he slumps to the ground.

⤷ somehow, he's comfortable with it. Usually, at least. You'll know if he's uncomfortable when he either asks if you could move somewhere else or when he drags you over to the couch.

⤷ whenever you guys cuddle, if you're not talking to each other, then you're both doing something else. Either one of you would be on your phone while the other works on something, but sometimes you're both on your phones.

⤷ whenever this happens, Nishinoya will often look up from his phone and gaze at you, not really saying anything. He'll do this when he knows you're busy doing your thing. He likes admiring you. You're really amazing to him, anyway.

↪ so when you notice his gaze on you, you'll turn to look at him, and he won't look away. Yes, he'd be slightly startled, but he won't turn his gaze away. Instead, he smiles and tells you that you're amazing and that he loves you.
