Elizabeth Garza (final) bio
Elizabeth Garza
I am currently a Senior majoring in BFA of Digital Communication Design at the University of Milwaukee, Wisconsin graduating in the spring of 2020.  My career goal is to be an Illustrative graphic design specializing in both illustration and design. I have a passion for challenging myself by discovering new techniques and trying new media. For every project, my main goal is to accomplish the agenda by taking notes and ask lots of questions to completely understand the projects at hand.
Outside of school, I have a hobby of drawing anatomy to understand how the human body works. On occasion, I would experiment with any media to illustrate pictures, recently I started using cardstock papers to make posters. The main reason why I do both media and online media is because I want to somehow incorporate both media together.
Currently, I am a Sales Associate at Michaels Art and Craft Store. At work, I am an assigned teacher that teaches art education for children and adults in arts and crafts. However, my skills rely on Adobe Illustrations and Adobe After Effects.
My specialties included but not limited to Adobe Illustrations, Concept sketch, Company Logo, Microsoft Word, Multimedia and After Effects.

Individual Question
Elizabeth Garza’s Question
Why are some items give the impression that they’re recyclable but not accepted at any recycling bins? How can we improve for the community to understand what’s really recyclable and what’s not? What did other countries do to resolve this issue and how do we plan to make it our own?
 What is the TM?
Target Audience would be 18 to 30 years olds in the Milwaukee area, mainly in local businesses and the parents.
 Who are they?
Those who are affected by the amount of waste being consumed by increase landfilled. It affects the homeowners and people who are working on wastelands because there are people who are not educated to know the differences between waste and recyclables. Therefore it also affects children because they're being influenced by adults.
What do we want to know?
How to easily tell the difference between waste and recyclables more clearly, without much confusion in the organization, work/efforts, and impression on what’s recyclable and what is not.
 What are their needs?
To be easier and not time-consuming, we live in a fast pace community and here in the U.S, we are not educating our community the proper way to manage our waste in school or by community, therefore, our wastelands are increasing, our environment is getting dirtier everywhere we look, we’re not enforcing people to put their trash away without almost any repercussions.
What needs are not being met?
Proper education on waste management that is easier for us to understand

New Research Plan
Each member will be researching their own topic and will tell everybody about what they’ve found. Therefore we can either help each other find more information or omit information if not needed.
Allison (*) will be using her syllabus and look at what’s coming next for assignments and deadlines.
Every member would be brainstorming by asking people into interviews based on their topic. We also will be setting up a group research session with the librarian when we are all available.
However, all of us are responsible for one of the mentors if any one of us is having issues looking for our topic via the internet or in the library.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Our audience is young adults between 18-30 years old because we believed that they are not correctly educating on waste management. Therefore they are teaching their children what they know because our kids look up to adults for guidance. Yes, kids can be in volunteer works and learn from school about recycling, but they are influenced by their parents.
