What I love about filler episodes in One Piece is watching the crew bond more. And i have the greatest time laughing because they’re a bunch of lovable idiots.

I will defend this to my last breath (okay exaggerating a bit) but if there is only one thing remotely worth defending in Dream of the Endles, it's that he does in fact have a heart and loves.

If i see one more person say Dream is incapable of love, i may just lose my fucking mind. Because are we watching the same show? Or did we read the same comics?!

Do I have to come with receipts to explain why he’s capable of romantic love? Are we forgetting how he went to Calliope’s rescue to save her? To which he did because he had empathy for her. He understood what it meant to be trapped.

1. When Rachel had been holding onto his pouch of sand, she was dying painfully, he could’ve left her like that in fact that was his first thought, but then he changed his mind. Let her die peacefully and happy rather than painfully. Also in the comics, John Constantine asked Dream to rid him of his nightmares and agreed to do so.

2. In 24 hours, Dream first tried to reason with John Dee about using the ruby in such a degree. And when Dream managed to get the Ruby back, Dream didn’t kill or punish him he sent John Dee back to the asylum and said “Tonight humanity will sleep in peace”

3. When revealing that Rose Walker is a vortex he states that he failed in his duty the last time one appeared and a whole world perished because of him. It’s not because he just decided not to. He refused to kill an innocent. He thought himself too wise, that he was above killing and that it went against his function. He believed it to be wrong at the time.

All of those things require some level of empathy. And if he’s capable of showing that, he’s capable of romantically loving another. So I believe Nada is wrong.

So umm I’m sitting here getting ready for bed and all of a sudden, I think about Ace dying. Then i asked myself, does Luffy still have nightmares about Ace dying in his arms? Like despite of constantly smiling all the time, does his pain come back to haunt him during his sleep? Does he wake up in cold sweats sometimes and imagine Ace’s blood on his hands?

Great… now i’m all in a funk. 😭😭😭

Sometimes i wish Desire would stop speaking like they’re better than Dream. All they’ve done is manipulate, and yes they speak the truth. And call out Dream on his bullshit. But why are the fuck are you talking like you’ve never manipulated anyone to get your way?

Like they didn’t just spend last season manipulating everyone so Dream could spill family blood and finally be rid of him?

Literally just got blocked by someone because I was reciting facts that Nada was aware that being with an Endless had consequences and she risked being with Dream anyway because she loved him. Does that mean that I’m saying she knew her people would die? No. I’m saying that she knew there would be consequences just not the extent.

I’ve read a few posts saying that Dream is incapable of romantic love. And I’m gonna have to disagree.

Here’s why: empathy. There are perfect examples throughout the comics and show where Dream is empathetic to others. Where he shows compassion. And anyone capable of showing empathy is capable of romantic love. They go hand in hand.

The issue with Dream is that his love isn’t just passionate, there’s also possessiveness to it. He expects the woman he loves to choose him above all else, above everything.
