I loved the AU idea fr

I really liked that Mei's parents are the leaders it's interesting, actually all the roles are really cool and the warrior names are just perfection!

I wanted to know how would this AU adapt the plot about MK being SWK's apprentice/sucessor and how would his powers adapt to the warrior cats universe

Also how is the characters relation with StarClan? As it is basically the Celestial Realm, would the relation be the same?

For mk's apprenticeship under wukong, it would be similar to how a cat trains in the dark forest in the books. So like a secret dual-mentorship type deal, where he's both a healer apprentice and a starclan apprentice (though the secret doesnt last long haha) And he doesn't need to access him through sleep bc wukong is in the real world, he just has to go find him yknow

Now the way mk's powers work is one of the trickiest parts of this au because,,well he's not gonna turn into a monkey. The best I can come up with so far is that his powers would behave like how the Three in the books do, where his "monkey form" would translate into super strength,agility,the invincibility he had for like half a episode,etc. His golden vision and shapeshifting should mostly stay the same,,

Also that's a good question! Because StarClan here acts as the Celestial Realm, it is an actual place the living can reach, just very unheard of. Healers aren't expected to be able to communicate with them, just the leaders, and probably only in order to get their nine lives, which is a one-time private thing. Which means they aren't like guides or anything, and prophecies are super rare. So to the general populace, StarClan is more like,, a blessed land in the sky where legends of powerful cats originate, and where their leaders got their nine lives from. It's mainly like a myth to them than anything ^^

It'll be different depending on the situation and nothing is entirely set in stone, but here's my ideas so far:

Instead of stealing the pillar from ao guang, he either hunts on their territory/takes something else or just causes some kind of havoc in their camp

Instead of his fight with dbk ending w dbk trapped under a mountain, he'll lead him into getting trapped under rocks/rubble, and the bull family releasing him could have something to do w wukong's spiritual powers from starclan? Not sure how they would get a hold of those powers tho. Alternatively, the easier explanation for releasing dbk could be like, it's been taking the family a long long time to just dig him out >_<

For mk's unique ability to hold the staff I think we could just say mk is having visions and dreams n stuff where wukong is in them.. and then obv his friends don't believe him until maybe he says something to hint that he knows things he shouldn't? Like something that happened in the past that he shouldn't know about unless he was telling the truth about the dreams yknow

Generally, the staff being used for combat would convert to normal warrior cat combat, and anything powers-related would convert to wukong's ties to starclan ^^

I'm not fully caught up with lmk so I cant give perhaps more topical questions BUT !! How do you imagine weilding the staff to look? :O since cats dont have opposable thumbs. usually

Ahh that's a tricky question because I was actually thinking the staff wouldn't exist at all in this au 😓 I know it's an important piece to the story but I feel like it would be easier to like,,subsitute the impact of the staff's existence in this universe (wukong stealing it, dbk family releasing dbk with it, mk having the power to hold it, etc)
