Last one for Folktale week - BLOSSOM - I was thinking of compassion blossoming from the kids, helping the dragon out of its depression. And in turn the forest recovering too. Thanks for reading - this was a challenge and definitely overworked but I learnt a lot!!

BLIGHT & TRAIL for Folktale Week - sorry it’s sad!

I’m using the #folktaleweek2024 challenge as a chance to introduce my characters that I’ve been developing for a comic strip! It’ll be set in a harbour town between the sea & forest, occupied with dragons, selkies and witches, following these kids as they wander about their town, talking. I want this project to focus on the theme of learning tools of self-compassion (a practice that has greatly helped me, which I wanted to share!).
