I saw someone’s opinion on Austria-Hungary that I didn’t like and I made this in retaliation, lol.

Anyway, take some simple headcanons about them.

Further concept of Austria-Hungary.

They’re not blind, their eyesight just isn’t great due to genetics. The reason that I do not draw eyepatches is not because they aren’t blind (though that is part of the reason), it’s because the eyepatches reflect weakness, and neither Austria or Hungary would want the figurehead of the empire to be seen as weak.

The reason I refer to Austria-Hungary with they/them pronouns is because they are intersex. They personally do not know how to reference themselves, and usually leave it up for other people to determine.

Bonus doodle! The actual blind one is Austria. He’s not completely blind, but is considered legally blind.

I find the Venetian carnival to be a rather interesting event, full of beautiful outfits and intricate masks. I also find Masquerades to be interesting as well. I felt it would be fun to mix the two.

I offer a drawing of the Republic of Venice. The word Pestilence is in reference to something else, but for Tumblr I can pretend that it's a reference to the Bubonic Plague which killed up to 50% of the population of Venice. It would be a rather fitting name if you think about it.
