nightmares - jotaro kujo

Waking up in the middle of the night to incoherent mumbling and the consecutive shifting from your boyfriend Jotaro Kujo wasn’t an outlandish experience for you. 

Things like these were frequent for the both of you. As just because DIO had been brung to his demise-- it didn’t mean that the grueling and cruel fight against the ancient vampire didn’t leave a scar in your stoic boyfriends mind.

The fifty day trip to Egypt had been something everyone who made it out alive dreaded to discuss. As remembering even the good memories only brought along the bad one’s. And the bad memories only brought a sense of guilt to those of you who survived,--you included.

Just the thought that it could’ve been any of you that would’ve died that day.. you had just been lucky enough to make it out with a few surface wounds. While others hadn’t gotten so lucky.

And while you hadn’t really interchanged punches with DIO yourself, Jotaro did. It’s why on nights like these, you let him be vulnerable.

Your hands grabbing at him from under the comforter as you tried to shake him awake without startling him much. Your eyes stayed glued to his face as the dried tear streaks only made your heart sink, knowing how much these nightmares affected him made you feel for him.

Not only because you knew what he was going through, but because you genuinely loved him. 

You didn’t want to see him suffer like this because all you truly desire is to see him happy and content. You didn’t want him to stay traumatized like this for any longer, and if you could somehow make it all magically disappear-- you would do it in a heartbeat.

But alas, all you can really do is nurture him, love him, care for him. “Jojo.. Jojo,” so you call his nickname out in an attempt to wake him from his suffering. Fingers lightly pressing into his arm as you try again.

“Joj.. Jotaro, please wake up..” you attempt once again as you hear a light gasp leave his lips. His eyes shoot open in desperation as Star Platinum materializes from behind him.

Jotaro’s body flings itself to sit up, his head swishing around in each and every direction as he tries to find what you can only presume is an enemy of some sort. You don’t allow him to look any longer as you squeeze his upper arm, his head snapping to look at you in terror.

Yet the look of fear fades from his eyes once he realizes who you are, this soon leads to him sighing out of relief. Star Platinum retreats itself back into Jotaro as you give him a small frown.

He looks at you before frowning back, his eyebrows scrunching together. “Another nightmare.. right?” he asks despite already knowing the answer, yet you still give him a small nod in return.

Jotaro let’s his head fall into his hand, his figure slouching over as he runs his other hand through his raven colored locks. 

You know he’s clearly frustrated, so you gently pat his back. Your hand tracing soothing patterns into his back as you go to remove his hand from his face, grabbing it as you allow him to intertwine your fingers between his own.

“It’ll be alright..” you speak in an attempt to soothe the suffering man, “you’re gonna be okay, I’m here for you.”

Those words seemed to somewhat calm him down as he stares over at you. His eyes don’t dare to meet your own. You have always been aware of the fact that Jotaro had difficulty expressing his emotions, or speaking out about what he wants.

So you don’t bother to ask him a thing. Your body seemingly moving on it’s own as you release his hand from your grasp. This allowed both of your arms to wrap around the back of his neck as you pull him down to your level, placing a tender kiss to his cheek as he leans into your touch.

You feel one of his arms snake around your waist to pull you closer. “I..” he goes to speak, yet nothing really seems to form. “Shh.. you don’t need to talk, just allow me to stay with you..” you effectively shush him as you start to slowly retreat onto your backside.

Bringing him down with you, his head falling onto your chest as he curls against your side like a scared child. The normally brave and heroic Jotaro Kujo had faded into a traumatized and scared boy.

And you allowed him to stay like that for the rest of the night-- in your embrace as you slowly tried to pick him up, piece by piece.

This was far from being his last nightmare, and you both knew that. But no matter how long it took, you were willing to stay by his side.

boyfriend!raihan who’s a gigantic simp for his s/o. you post a picture on your instagram? expect that to be blown up with flirty comments from him.

boyfriend!raihan who reposts your pictures onto his own instagram page and tags you just to brag about his ‘absolutely stunning s/o’.

boyfriend!raihan makes a mental schedule in his mind of when you aren’t busy with your work. he’ll be in the gyms locker room getting ready for another match and then checks the time, and then proceeds to call you knowing that you’re probably chilling right now.

boyfriend!raihan who makes it a point to visit you whenever he can. this man will be putting in his vacation hours for christmas the exact day he gets back from spending christmas with you.

boyfriend!raihan who is super clingy whenever he comes over to visit. if your over the stove cooking? he’s behind you, arms wrapped around your waist as you struggle to maneuver around the kitchen with him on your back. he’ll even tease you when you struggle to move around with his added weight.

boyfriend!raihan who tags you in a tweet and starts to practically have a conversation with you as it continues to become a thread. his fans gush about it while some poke fun at him for it.

boyfriend!raihan who considers moving over to your region and settle down once he feels financially comfortable.

boyfriend!raihan staying up late in the night on facetime with you knowing full and well that he has a gym to run in the morning. you nag him about it a few times while on call, but it mostly goes forgotten.

boyfriend!raihan who takes any sort of chance to show people your pictures and brag about you to his friends.

boyfriend!raihan who always is super excited when you pick him up at the airport, then proceeds to crush your bones with a super tight hug.

boyfriend!raihan who listens to you vent about your stress over the phone and about how much you miss him while he assures you that everything will be alright.

boyfriend!raihan who’s just a big lovable dork that can’t get enough of you.

brendan scenario

    pokemon, oras

soft hums filled the air as you brush through your newly gifted pikachu’s fur, the electric type sitting completely still on the dressing rooms table as it stared itself down in the large mirror.

you were entering a contest in the next hour and wanted to make sure that everything went smoothly. it was your first contest after all, and you didn’t want to make a fool of yourself out there on stage.

your eyes strayed to the large mirror in front of you for a split second, catching a quick glance at brendan who had propped himself into a chair, grey-blue eyes staring directly at you without any real purpose.

you had invited him to come and stay in your dressing room with you in hopes that he could help to ease out your nerves a bit.

he’s been silently staring at you the entire time though, and if you were being honest, it probably just freaked you out further than you already were.

“brendan,” you call out to him as you focus back onto your pikachu. he gives a small hum in response to show that he had been paying attention to you.

“do you think i’ll do alright..? it’s my first time competing and all, so..” your words trail off due to uncertainty. brendan’s chair gives a low creek as he stands up, quickly making way to where you sit.

he looms over you as you sit silently, you’ve stopped brushing your pikachu as said pokemon turns to look over it’s shoulder at you. it’s mouth pressed together in confusion, yet it says nothing.

brendan is also silent, both of his hands making way to your shoulders as he grasps them firmly from behind. “look at me,” he sternly orders as you raise your head slightly looking straight ahead into the mirror.

yet instead of glancing at your own reflection, you glance at his. 

his eyes hold the sort of determination that you would see in any other pokemon trainer, but then again it feels different to you; it’s only so different because he’s the one staring at you like that-- brendan was the one trying to motivate you.

“this is only the beginning, and i know that it’s a bit scary but i know you’ll pull through,” he claims. “you’re a strong trainer, so i know that you’ll be fine,”

you watch carefully as brendan’s reflection leans down, releasing both of your shoulders before it’s crouching by your side.

only then is when you rip your eyes away from the mirrors reflection and towards him. brendan gives you a smile, and you can’t help but smile back. 

he’s now at eye level with you, face presumably very close to your own as he speaks. “you’ve got this,” he says before leaning forward and placing a small kiss to the corner of yours lips.

your cheeks flush with heat from the contact as he stands back up straight, waltzing back to his chair in the corner as he inevitability leaves you a mess.

“darling,” his voice flows your ears like a graceful melody. your now open eyes staring up at him from your position between both of his legs, one of his hands stroking and playing with your hair in a loving manner. 

the way he looks down at you makes your heart melt, n had always been such a beautiful person in your eyes, no matter what actions he would commit; he’d still be perfect to you no matter what. “yes..?” your voice tiredly drawls out.

n smiles, leaning down as he places a chaste kiss to your lips before mumbling against them, “i love you..”

Question..

Okay so there’s loads of Manga surrounding the pokemon games, the most popular series being the Pokemon ADVENTURES/SPEACIALS Manga. The fandom for Pokespe is slightly existing so I have a genuine question. Out of all the Arc’s which does the fandom like the most? 

Sure I’ve seen so many people say that the original RBG Manga is the best, and sure I love it but I feel there’s a lot of nostolgia behind that answer. And we can’t really say that the newer issues of Pokespe suck because the newer series like SWSH or XY in my oppinion are outstanding. 

So what I’m asking, what do you think was the best written Pokespe Manga Series? (Please don’t rely much on nostolgia and give at least one reason <3)

I know there’s a whole war over the change in Schilly and Sou’s names in the English Dub of the Swsh Manga, but I’m one of the few people who didn’t mind the name changes. Casey (Schilly) and Henry (Sou) kinda fit them ngl, but please let me know what you think :)
