He picks up the phone. Presses 3. It rings. And rings. And rings. The voicemail answers. The person you have dialed is not available. He listens and hangs up before the beep.

The brownstone creeks around him. Dust catches in the moonlight, shining on the mantle.

Her slip is in his room. A white puddle on the floor. His shirt isn’t pressed. Isn’t washed. Crumpled next to hers. From the other night; their last night.

The electronic orchestra ringtone shatters the stillness. The phone begins to vibrate off the desk. And for a split second, he thinks maybe she’s returning the missed call.

I have no idea how much time passed in game between ep 37 and the s2 finale, but in my head it's not a whole lot. Which means in my little canon divergent situation where Miles and Elsa were together, he lost Marcos and Elsa basically back to back. I also wanted to play his reliance on Marcos a bit and highlight his absence. I couldn't remember exactly when Miles got the new haven either.

Marcos is Miles' number 2 speed dial. Elsa is 3.

I feel like chatgpt came around and everyone immediately forgot what they were doing to get stuff done before. like writing centers, extensions, extra help, templates, office hours, beta readers, random generators, and art and writing prompts have all existed for ages. even if you were cheating there's always been sparknotes, photomath, copying, paying someone else to do it, faking that your grandma died, and whatever. all of that stuff is more reliable and doesn't fuck over the planet. and you might actually learn something

Okay so I had this AU idea for a long time and I've only had time to draw a bit of it until now. It's basically a murder mystery AU. I have no name for it right now so I'm just going to call it ministry mystery 👍

Summary: While the ongoing practice of the Ghost project continues, Cardinal Copia stumbles upon a battered skull. Strange things start to happen, and the cardinal is being haunted by a shadowy ghoul. He now finds himself as an amateur detective, accompanied by his ghouls, to solve the mystery of the ghoul skull and its odd death.

Glamoured/Human versions of the ghouls under the cut. They're technically humanized versions of my ghoul designs, but they do have similar features to the actual musicians. Hiding it just in case some people don't want to see it

They remained glamoured for the first half because they were instructed not to reveal their true selves to the cardinal, but as the investigation goes on and more truths are uncovered, they slowly drop it.

I want to develop this more but for now, they're just going to be out of context sketches with vague hints of plot.
