story: three young women, Grace, Emma, and Meg, travel to Paris for a vacation. However, their trip takes an unexpected turn when Grace is mistaken for a wealthy princess named Cordelia Winthrop Scott. Embracing the mix-up, the girls find themselves whisked away to Monte Carlo, where they experience a glamorous lifestyle beyond their wildest dreams.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Opinions: sooo I watched this movie week ago (I can’t even remember the date) and I have to say it was very nice. It’s a carefree, easy and cute romance movie. It’s all very light and sometimes even funny. I don’t have much to say about it as it wasn’t anything exceptional, but I definitely enjoyed it and distracted me from the problems I have in real life (plus it made me wanna go to Monte Carlo/ Paris so baddd)

acting: all the actors played their roles respectively well, especially Selena Gomez who plays the protagonist (Grace) did a great job, since she had to play two very different characters

Lighting and cinematography: nothing special, this movie is from the 2011 so it is to be expected

overall I think this movie is cute and stress-free so if that’s what you’re looking for you should definitely watch it!

story: it’s a French movie based on a true story. It follows the unlikely friendship between Philippe, a wealthy quadriplegic man, and Driss, a young man from the suburbs with a troubled past who becomes Philippe's caregiver.

rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

opinions: as you can see from my rating, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. You probably have already watched it since it’s a classic, but if you haven’t, it’s a must. It explores so many beautiful themes (such as friendship,trust, love and acceptance) while showcasing the power of empathy and understanding between two very different individuals. This movie proves that relationships like friendship can flourish even between people with different condition, lifestyle, wealth, and race. The only reason why I didn’t give it five stars was because it was two hours long and in some points I found myself bored, but that’s just because I was tired when I watched the movie.

acting: phenomenal, exceptionally well performed. The actor who played Philippe truly made me believe he was disabled and I had to look online to see if the actor actually was paralysed in real life (he isn’t which just proves my point in how good of a job he did)

cinematography and lighting: nothing special

In summary, you SHOULD watch this movie because of all the reasons I’ve listed up until now. And as always, let me know your opinions and thoughts.

story: the movie follows the story of a man named Donny Berger, played by Adam Sandler, who fathered a son named Todd when he was a teenager. Donny's irresponsible behavior causes Todd to become estranged from him. However, years later, Donny reappears on the eve of Todd's wedding, causing chaos and comedic situations as they try to reconnect and deal with their past.

rating: ⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

opinions: if I could I would give this abomination zero stars, but I can’t so I’m giving it the least. i hated this. before watching a movie, I always always read reviews on Common Sense Media or Rotten Tomatoes. So I was aware that this movie is very explicit, but I wasn’t expecting it to be THIS inappropriate. The plot wasn’t exceptional, sure some scenes and jokes were funny, but also offensive and mean, so I didn’t feel like laughing at someone else’s expense. There were barely any good messages or positive role models present in the movie. Just bad

acting: the acting was good since most characters had to do embarrassing things for their roles, but again I did not enjoy it

cinematography and lightning: literally nothing remarkable about this aspect of the movie

overall I don’t recommend this movie to anyone, you’re doing yourself a favour by not watching it. so many important mature themes were discussed frivolously (pedophilia, incest and so on). I just lost two hours of my time

Bridge to Tarabithia

story: the story follows the friendship between Jess Aarons, a young boy, and Leslie Burke, a new girl in town. They create an imaginary kingdom called Terabithia in the woods, where they reign as king and queen, using their imaginations to escape the challenges of their real lives. The story takes a heartbreaking turn when there is a tragic accident involving one of the characters, leading Jess to cope with loss and learn valuable lessons about friendship, love, and the power of imagination.

rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

opinions: this movie made me sob and i’ve just finished it. throughout the whole movie we as spectators get to see the beautiful friendship between jess and leslie and them slowly falling in love. but that’s not the point of the movie, the point is that they helped eachother when they needed a friend and comfort. they were bestfriends and spent all of their time together. so when the accident happened i was shocked and disappointed to say the least. it wasn’t supposed to end like this. they should have grown together, laughed more and eventually gotten together. i’m not gonna say anything else that might spoil this movie so go see for yourself and let me know what you guys think.

acting: the whole cast did a great job at playing the characters but i’d like to mention may bell’s actress, Bailee Madison, who played her role perfectly even though she was only a child when the movie was filmed.

cinematography and lighting: this movie is kinda of old, it’s from 2007, so the special effects aren’t as good and believable as the ones we use now but i still think they were good.

finally, i would recommend watching this movie to anyone and everyone. it should be on your watchlist if you still haven’t watched this.

500 days of Summer

story: this is a story about love (not a love story), between two work colleagues. They meet at the office where they both work and Tom immediately falls in love with Summer. They have a great thing, not a relationship, and spend their time going to the movies, laughing and enjoying eachothers company.

rating: ⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

opinions: let me explain why i only have this movie one star. i’m heartbroken. this movie was a rollercoaster. the ending left me completely unsatisfied and depressed, from a logical point of view i can somewhat understand their situation and that it’s not that deep, they just weren’t meant to be. but what can i do? i’m a hopeless romantic and liked their relationship/ friendship. i’m gonna cry myself to sleep now.

acting: i can’t say the actors didn’t do a good job but their roles weren’t extremely hard to play so.

cinematography and lighting: this movie is from 2009 so it’s nothing special but there are some cool scenes where you can see both tom and summer’s point of view and things like that.

in conclusion, this movie is right for you if you’re looking for something different than your typical love story

story: this movie talks about the life of Priscilla Presley and all of the things she’s had to endure. it starts as her as a young innocent girl and slowly becomes a victim of abuse of her husband, Elvis Presley.

rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

opinions: when I decided to watch this movie, I was not educated about Priscilla’s life story so I was caught off guard. I often felt sad for her because she was clearly a victim of domestic abuse and was only a minor when she met and started dating her future husband Elvis Presley.

acting: I think the acting of Cailee Spaeny, the protagonist and Jacob Elordi, as Elvis, was great. I really felt all of her emotions and was able to understand her fully.

cinematography and lighting: I thoroughly enjoyed how the movie was displayed

in conclusion, I recommend watching this movie if you’re looking for something that’s both a romance and a drama.
