These two pieces were just posted as pieces of Dev’s Red, Black, and White collection. Dev explains how these two weren’t used in the final collection mostly due to compositional issues. The concepts were reworked and finalized to bring two new phenomenal pieces to us!

1.) @dramatic-delirium your chances of being bit/scratched have just gone up 10 fold

2.) ahhhh I see now. Yes! I had originally planned those as legs however I am now seeing how they can be interpreted as fangs. I’ll likely extend them in the future ;)

3.) Thank you!! 🥰 for her movie suit I took heavy inspiration from some of Mig’s concept art since I liked how dramatic and sharp it looked. I also have a brush pack that has the Kirby Krackle so I used that hehe

4.) I wasn’t originally planning on it but now that I’m seeing an enthusiastic response I want to! 🫣

Likely not too soon since I’m finishing out my finals atm but this will definitely not be the last you’ll see of Mitch (I also have some other art under my ‘spiderwoman 2099’ tag :) )

5.) and yes to both capes, I’d imagine they’re not too different from Mig

I have a story in mind as well as her general backstory and role both in her own self-contained story and in the Spiderverse movie canon.

As for legs, the spider logo has eight of you include the two lines that connect to the color block of her shoulders

okay I needed like 1 second of convincing lol

SO, I have this Fem! Miguel O’Hara design and I want y’all’s thoughts. The suit on the left would be her ‘comic suit’ and the one on the right would be the ‘movie suit’, similar to Miguel.

Michelle O’Hara

Originally I was just gonna take Miguel’s comic suit and copy it over to Michelle but I wanted a little more emphasis on the suit’s Dia de Los Muertos origin. So, using the base body from a suit concept I did a while back, I sketched out a draft of Michelle’s comic suit.

It’s menacing while also still making her character appear more ‘rounded’ in comparison to the movie suit. The comic suit also has similar motifs such as the knee designs and arm arrows.

What’s the vibe? Do we like the ‘comic suit’ or should I do some more exploration?

(Also, mildly related, the reason I named her Michelle rather than Michaela or Maria is because Michaela is the name of my roommate and Maria is the name of her mom. It felt weird to have my version of a fem!Miguel have the same name as someone I know so I elected to use my middle name, Michelle. I know it’s not the most Hispanic name ever but in my defense I am Mexican and afab so I’m gonna say it counts 🙃 also I can call her Mitch the Bitch which pleases me deeply.)
