Another late update!
SW: 178lbs CW: 160lbs GW: 140lbs
total loss 18lbs/20lbs to go!
I'm not going to lie... i was so shocked that i had lost 6lbs since my last weigh in. i had a weekend of heavy boozing and haven't really been eating 'well'.
I said in my last post that I was going to stay on the same dose of saxenda but did indeed go up to 3mg. I don't think i'll rebuy any more pens as I have a few left but i have noticed a HUGE difference with my appetite. I can't eat big meals at all anymore, i get too full and almost want to throw up. It's hard as well cos i can go almost a full day without eating without getting hungry? i do always make sure i eat something though.
i've noticed a change in my body, clothes fit looser (nice!) and at the end of the day, i don't hate my reflection like i used to? it's nice!
here's to hoping i can meet my target soon... i'm happy to report i'm basically halfway there!!

Weigh in & sax update
SW: 178lbs CW: 166lbs GW: 140lbs
total loss: 12lbs / 26lbs to go.
Another 2lbs down!! not too shabby considering i'm on my period too, I wasn't expecting anything major.
I have gone up to 2.4mg on my saxenda pen - its been a wild few days. I experienced some grogginess/nausea for the first time since early jan. On saturday, I even vomited because food just didn't sit right on my stomach.
It kinda sucked and I was worried it was going to be a longer term side effect but it seemed to ease off the last few days. I've just got to have smaller meals and eat them more frequently, I think.
I'm going to try and drag out staying on 2.4 as much as I can because the pens are quite expensive and I can't see myself repurchasing anymore past March. I'm going to lose as much as I can with the pens I have and then I'll most likely have to stop taking them - i'm hoping that by already being in a calorie deficit, working out more AND having a smaller apeitite should motivate me enough to lose without the aid. fingers crossed!

Update!
Ok so I haven't been very frequent - apologies!
here are my current stats:
SW: 178lbs CW: 168lbs GW: 140lbs
total loss: 10lbs [over 4 weeks] 28lbs to go.
I think at first I was quite disappointed with my saxenda journey. I felt tired all the time and meals seemed to make me queasy halfway through. I was weighing myself every day and was not seeing frequent losses. I stayed the same weight for days on end.
I'm part of a facebook group and I was reading peoples stories about how they lost 12lb in 2 weeks and was convinced this would happen to me. When it didn't, I was disappointed and thought about stopping saxenda completely. I'm glad I didn't though. For me, once I moved onto 1.8mg, i noticed that i was losing more and realised that I needed to just listen to my body and eat when I was hungry and stop when I felt sick. I soon realised I was eating far too big of portions previously!
Happy to answer any questions about sax on here! There's so much i could say but don't really know how to type it haha.

starting new
I've decided to start tracking my weight loss journey on tumblr again. It's something i've done before but 10 years ago and it really helped me.
I've gained weight back over the years but i'll give myself some credit as i'm no longer 15 and my metabolism and lifestyle has changed.
It think its good to mention that I am taking saxenda to aid with my weight loss (feels good to type that, I've not actually told anyone. It feels like a dirty secret) I feel like it will give me the boost I need to get the ball rolling. I think i'll make another post about that later, its still early days!
So here are my stats:
SW: 178lbs CW: 172lbs GW: 140lbs
total loss: 6lbs
