// I need to share this with you, guys. Especially to all whovians out there.

Two days ago I was in a subway station, on my way home from work. The trains were delayed so I was just walking around the platform when this person gets there. He was about 25 years old, more or less, and he was wearing a suit. He had a back pack and he was carrying a small box in his hands. What he was muttering to himself clearly made no sense. He said things about some captain or general and he asked for Bruce Wayne. What caught my attention (and everyone else’s too) was that he said a bomb was about to explode.

By the time he started talking about the bomb, he was already sitting down about 7 feet from where I was standing. He suddenly became louder and louder and a woman called the people from security to help him out because he was clearly scared.

I was just paralyzed there, watching everything and trying to understand what exactly was going on, when I suddenly heard the word “DALEK”. Yes. This person was yelling that the daleks had given him the bomb. It was a 450 pounds bomb and it was going to blow up, not one, but 9 blocks around Plaza de Mayo. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. And this is one of the most (and probably THE most important) square we have. And, of course, the trains headed to that point.

There’s no need to say that no one there stopped to think about daleks. The security guy was trying to help him and tried to take the box from him. I was still paralyzed thinking “this whovian went absolutely crazy”. And then, he started asking for the doctor. People there assumed he wanted A doctor, so they went to get A doctor. But this person kept saying “No no, I want the doctor, I want the doctor”. Yes, he wanted THE Doctor.

This confusion goes on for about a minute and the train wasn’t coming yet so I took my phone out of my bag to text my friend and tell her what was going on down there. Before I grab the phone, I realized there was a pen next to it. I saw the security guy struggling to open the box because his hands were shaking. So I took the pen, kneeled down next to him, and basically stabbed the box.

When I did that, the guy’s eyes widened and asked me “Is that your sonic screwdriver?!” I glanced at him and kept trying to open the box and said “Yeah, sure”. So then he stared at me and said “The Doctor’s gonna be mad! Cause you stole his screwdriver”. And this is when everything got even stranger. Because without even thinking I said “What? No way, I am the Doctor”. I don’t know why I did it, I just did it. He was scared, he needed help. He was crying, yelling he didn’t want to kill people and asking for the Doctor to deactivate the bomb. So I guess I just tried to give him what he wanted.

As I was trying to open the small box, which clearly only contained new presentation cards and not a 450-pound bomb, he kept asking me questions like “Why did you die?” and “When did you regenerate?” I do not remember exactly what I told him because I was freaking nervous, but I remember telling him “Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. I’m a girl now” and tried to smile at him.

Finally we could open the box and the security guy started taking out the cards to calm him down. But then, he grabbed my pen and asked me if he could keep my screwdriver. I said “Yes, sure!” because the train was coming to the platform and all I wanted to do was leave that place immediately. So I stood up and he yelled at me “No! But where’s the Tardis?! You have to use your Tardis, not a muggle train!”. The train was already there and I was about to get on so I just turned and said “Oh, no! It’s okay, I parked it on Plaza de Mayo!” Then I got on the train and left.

…I still don’t fully understand what happened nor why I did what I did. I don’t know what happened to that person or if he’s okay. I hope he is. And to the ones who read this post I just want to tell you that if you have the chance to help someone, no matter how scary it could be, just do it. Because I don’t know if he’s okay right now, but when I got on that train, I saw him much better than when he had arrived to the station in complete panic. Helping others feels good, you really should try that sometimes. Trust me. After all, I’m the Doctor xD
