Euden, he claimed. That boy he met at the Star Trail had been more of a threat than Dune expected from a simple sword, but not necessarily a threat to him. “It’s good to see you again. I didn’t know you could change your form. Is this the natural one, or the one that appears human?” He had reason to believe it could be either one, although he was more of an involuntary shapeshifter than not.
“Unfortunately, I’m one of those that goes “too far in”. It isn’t that often, but enough that I’ve been close to them before. I can escape them, but I’ve never managed more than that.” He hadn’t tried, but he also wasn’t stupid enough to risk everything on a speedy kick.
“It pays, and no one has to worry about hiring someone that looks as young as I do.” More importantly, that would bother him anyway. He was his own boss here, safe work be damned.
“This form isn’t mind at all, i’m just borrowing some power from a friend.“ A friend that was a Dragon, but that was a simple way of answering Dune’s question. He was still just Human even if he had the Dragonblood to help him make pacts.
“At least you are able to get away, but you should be more careful.“ The Dragon form seems to give a concerned look to his friend, seeing as he did see Dune was a friend right now.
“It pays? Just to get close to them?“ Euden seems a little confused by the idea of that. He knew killing certain fiends could get a person money back at his home, but just spotting them sounded like an odd way to get payed.
“Still, I don’t trust the limits I have with my power yet. I may be faster as a Dragon but i only have a limited time.“ He had already used up half of the time on just testing his attacks.
#kiratte#the forest is just a lot like the area around his home...... so he finds it normal#Dune is here to just try to make others think of bad ideas

Shut still felt bad for bumping into him like that. He really should pay more attention to where he was going. However, when the other person picked up his phone, Shut nodded.
“It is,” He admitted. He really should get something to carry it in. Without pockets, storing it wasn’t all that easy. Though, the other didn’t look like anyone he’s met before, admittedly.
“I don’t think we’ve met before, have we? My name is Shut,” There, at least that time he didn’t forget the introduction.
“I’m Euden! Its nice to meet you Shut.“ He was sure he hadn’t met the other before as well, but it was nice to have a good introduction after being bumped into.
“Are you new to the city or have we just not had a chance to bump into each other before?“ Euden knew he was a bit bad at keeping track of who might be new to the city, but he did tend to keep busy day to day. So he wouldn’t be surprised if people had noticed him around if they were in the city long enough.

Its true Euden isn’t old enough to really drink but he enjoys the space, and nobody has told him to ever leave before. After all it reminds him of the time his friends would take him to taverns, and it was a great place to learn more about what was going on in the city.
Though he didn’t expect someone to come up to him and question him about the place.
“Well, i’m pretty sure I know what this place is like as i’ve been here a few times.“ He gives the other a smile, as he can understand that they must be concerned about him.
“There might be, but this is one of the best place to learn about any new rumors about the city.“ Or to just be social, and Euden did like to be social.
It catches him off guard at first. To notice a young man seated occupying a table by himself, his order being taken, and for him to socialize in friendly chatter with a few of the other people seated around him. While Gawain is sure that looks can certainly be deceiving, he certainly didn’t look old enough to be in here, let alone by himself. Deciding that it’s better to be safe than sorry, he approaches the young man and leans down. “…Are you aware of what type of establishment this is?” While Dionyus’ Chalice was by far one of the safer options, it certainly wasn’t a place for children to hang around by their lonesome.
“Surely…there are better places for you to be.”

#galatine#i'm sure they can be friends! Euden is very good at making friends#don't worry about speed i've been slow myself lately too

“No.” A sarcastic voice rang out before he peeked around from behind the dumpster. For some reason, dumpster rummaging was quite a popular trend among the residents, so he couldn’t help himself. He didn’t even get to start his excursion before his presence was known. Boo.
After a moment, he stepped out from behind the dumpster, patting off the dust from the bottom part of his tunic. “Ain’t it a bit late? Don’t you know only dangerous people roam the streets at night?” Hardly. Shadow just liked being ominous. But, it didn’t help he had his sword strapped to his back.
“You need an escort home?”
That was anything but a cat. Though Euden isn’t disheartened by any of their words. If anything he still gives a bit of a smile, even if he didn’t care for how ominous the other was trying to be. It didn’t really work when the other came from behind trash.
“It is a bit late, but you are out here too. So there must be something going on to keep you awake.“ Unlike the other he wasn’t being sarcastic, really he could only wonder what this boy was thinking being here.
“I don’t think I need an escort all the way home... I just need to find a large enough area and I can get home easy enough.“ He wasn’t really feeling like wandering around too much longer. He wasn’t worried about dangerous people, seeing as his own sword was always by his side as well.

She took a moment longer to appraise the crystal as best as she could without touching it, eyes lingering in quiet study now she had been given some permission to examine it and not simply view from afar. The way it glittered in the light did speak to her on a primal level; this was absolutely something that would look at home amongst piles of treasures.
Yet this was his and not hers, so she tried not to stare too long. Interestingly enough quite a fascinating explanation seemed to go along with their marvellous appearance.
“A Dragon, you say? Well isn’t that a coincidence; I happen to know a thing or two about dragons.” Her smile spread a little wider. “Do you consider yourself well connected with them? You must be quite the reliable and trustworthy soul if you’re forming pacts with dragons.”
“I would ask who you have in there but I have forgotten my manners and not even introduced myself, my name is Ammutseba.”
Euden was fine with her looking at the crystals but he was too wary to even offer the crystal to be touched by this person. He didn’t know them well enough for that, and since someone had attempted to steal one of them before he knew he had to be careful.
“Oh? What things do you know about Dragons?“ He asked, perfectly curious about other places with Dragons. They all seemed unlike his own home, but the other seemed happy at the topic of Dragons.
“Yes, I do after all this crystal is the proof of our pact. I see them all as my friends and allies in all my battles. I can only hope that they feel the same way.“ He believes that they do, even if some of the Dragons can come on a bit strong about their love.
“I’m Euden, and in this crystal is the Windwyrm, Midgardsomr and the other one is the Lightwyrm, Jupiter!” He answers after she gives her name, “And its not really fully them in there... but it connects me to them and I can use their power if i need to?“
Using their power would change him into them, at least on the outside but he still could react like himself.

It was not only not a threat, but he was meant to recognize it. His eyes narrowed as he tried to run through everyone he’d met, but this one didn’t speak uniquely enough for him to recognize a pattern. Being clueless wasn’t likely to be a problem anyway.
“I work out here, in a manner of speaking.” That didn’t feel like the best phrasing for it, but it didn’t matter. “So I try to learn everything I can about this forest. I haven’t seen something like you before.” Or anywhere, really. A long-horned bird… dragon? Refreshing.
“I can tell you’re normally a person if we’ve met, but I’m afraid your voice fits this look better.” in other words, it wasn’t the same voice. “If you ever do want to try that power against them, I should be able to assist you.”
Dune worked out here? Euden didn’t really think this was a working place, more like his home. Were most of the place was wild, and filled with fiends that could cause problems if they got too close to the city. Though Euden didn’t think they would go that close, so he didn’t think there was any reason to try and fight them.
Some fiends were a bit like animals at least back at his home, so there might be a reason why these ones were here.
“You wouldn’t! I just got this power back a little bit ago.“ Thats why he had any reason to test it out, he wouldn’t be using his attacks without that reason. “Its Euden!“ He also adds so that Dune knows who he is talking to.
“However... By what i’ve seen there isn’t too much reason to fight the fiends in this forest, they like to stay deeper and don’t hurt people unless they go too far in.“ It was an unneeded fight at the moment, the best thing would make sure other people knew not to go too deep in this forest.

Euden didn’t expect someone to just bump into him, but he didn’t really mind it. The bump wasn’t anything too strong after all, and he just gave the other a smile.
“Don’t worry about it!“ He really didn’t mind being bumped into too much, and since the other person seemed to have been lost in their thought he would be even more forgiving. Though there was a noise right? Euden didn’t think he dropped anything himself, but he saw a phone by his feet.
He picked it up before asking, “Is this your phone?” If yes he would offer it back to the other person.
Shut sighed, watching the koi swim in the pond. Really, it was surprising to him, how much of what he now called home was here. Though, it did all feel the same. There were too many people who were like him, really. He didn’t quite get it yet, not even having been here a full month, and already he had met so many like him.
Standing, he stretched, feeling like maybe finding something to do would help. Turning to leave, he bumped into someone. The faint sound of something clattering meant he probably dropped his phone… again. He still wasn’t used to those.
“Sorry, nomi…” He apologized, tilting his head to look the other in the eye.

Normally Euden wouldn’t change into a Dragon around so many people, since it was better to save such powers for just fighting. However with being in the city for a while he stopped limiting himself so much, just so he could be reminded a bit of home.
And well, some kids had wanted to see him change so here he was, being a large bird-like Dragon while a handful of kids ran around him. They seemed to like his feathered form of the Lightwyrm more. Though he wonders if the real Dragon would be at all happy by being called a ‘chicken’ seeing as that is what the kids had decided he was.
He noticed some other man off in the distance, though he could guess they were only wondering why there was a rather large feathered creature around a bunch of kids.
#flawlessuser#some context is Euden used to work with orphaned kids in this city so i'm saying he would be still friends with the NPC ones#also if you want him to have seen Euden change into a Dragon thats cool with me!#If this doesn't work out for you though feel free to tell me!

kiratte:
Spending enough time around the Mistwood, whether he was intent on risking his life that day or not, gave him an idea of what to expect. Thunder was not normal, at least without enough dark clouds to keep him away in the first place. Dune’s first thought was that someone was fighting something, and he had all the interest in the world in finding out if the denizens could be killed. Risking it today to find out sounded like it could be worth it.
Quick feet brought him to the source of the unusual noise before they could disappear. At the sight of something bright beyond the trees ahead, he slowed to a walk and looked out. Whatever the great beast was, it wasn’t something from here, and there wasn’t one from here nearby.
“You didn’t just defeat one of the denizens, did you?” he called out. Could it understand him? The last one did. Was it definitely a threat? No. Was it possibly a threat? Yes.
Did he have something better to do? Not at all.
Euden perked up, but as a Dragon the most noticeable thing was the way the feathers just, puffed at at the sudden voice. He thought for sure he would be alone out here.
Wait! He knew that voice and with one look at who was speaking he could tell for sure it was Dune. At least out in the mistwoods he wouldn’t have to try some strange food like before.
“Dune! What are you doing this far out of the city?“ Euden’s voice didn’t sound the same as the one Dune would know and Euden had never voiced being able to turn into Dragons before. What a surprise for Dune when he found out.
“And no, I was just getting a feel for how much power I had gotten back.“ His head tilted to the side, looking the part of a questioning chicken, “I think the best I could do is scare off those fiends for a while, but they seem to be deeper in the woods.“

Normally Euden isn’t out at night, but tonight he had decided to stay up a bit longer. He has been feeling restless and ended up just wandering for a while in the city.
However now he was lost, he didn’t even know if he was still in his home ward. He knew he could just change into a Dragon and fly home but was that the best use of his powers? Besides there wasn’t that much room, he would need to find somewhere more clear. His thoughts paused when he heard a noise.
“Is someone there?“ Hes not really scared of someone being there, but he knows its better to be ready if the other turned out to be a danger. Hopefully it was just like a cat.

@kiratte
Rather than a normal second meeting close to the condos, Euden was closer to the mistwoods. He found the area the closest to his home, and he sometimes felt like he could find his castle out here, hidden in the trees.
It also gave a good amount of space for Euden to test out his powers, and to feel the limits for himself. Even if they were written down for him, it always was better to test how it felt.
Thats why if anyone came near Euden right now, they would see a rather large bird-like Dragon. Though what might bring another close is the Lightning striking though the trees at the ground around the Dragon. Of course Euden is too busy trying to judge how strong it feels to notice anyone.

warpedglass:
Perhaps it was coincidence or perhaps it was something more, despite not being fates biggest fan it was certainly something she believed in. Maybe it was neither and it was simply the glittering crystals he held in his hands; she’d always been drawn to gemstones and similarly appealing trinkets and valuables in a rather primal way, possibly due to her own nature.
Whether it was the young man or the crystals he held in his hands something was drawing her in and she was not the type to ignore this. She approached in a manner she hoped was non-threatening, the tendrils from her back hanging low below her waist and a smile on her face.
“Hello there. I hope I’m not intruding on anything but the sight of you standing there with those magnificent stones in your arms was simply too curious to pass up.”
“And I do hope you forgive me for eavesdropping, but I couldn’t help but hear you say who rather than what.”
While she didn’t approach in anyway that was threatening Euden still felt a little embarrassed he didn’t notice her sooner. He he had been taking to himself, while someone was close enough to overhear him.
“You aren’t intruding, after all this is a public area after all!“ He gives her a smile, and holds one of the pactstones up, it’s blue shine showing clearly in the sun.
“This stone? Its a pactstone that only comes when you make a pact with a Dragon, from my home.“ He guesses by the other’s looks that they aren’t against Dragons, so hes more open with what the stones do. In fact them for some reason reminded him a bit of a Dragon, but not like any he knew.
“So, it connects me to them and thats why I said who, even if I can’t really talk to them while i’m in this city.“ If only he could, he rather misses all the Dragons and the advice they could give.
#warpedglass#i don't mind at all! in fact thank you for taking this open#Giratina is one of my favs i just love them

Euden was rather happy that he was able to get back another one of his pactstones. After all it held the power to become a Dragon in it, and he would make sure this one was just as safe as the other one he had. He had been able to tell it was connected to the Lightwyrm, or Jupiter as that Dragon was named.
Strange, to not get the crystal-like stones in order that he got them before. It made him wonder what one he might get back next as he held the pactstones in his hands.
“I wonder who I will get next...“ He more muttered to himself, not expecting anyone around to find him. Though he wasn’t really trying to hide, and the crystals might attract someone. Though it would be useless to steal them, as the power would not go with them.
#isola open#don't steal them.... make friends with Euden and he can share them (he does in his game after all)

idealflames:
“ conflict is born when two desires cannot co-exist. when man is unable to stand down from the pedestal they’ve put themselves on, they refuse to share the light with others. because of that it falls less on my ability and that of others. a world where no such conflicts could breed war, a country that can remain its own in those times is the kind of land i aspire to bring to this land. “ while sounding like a monumental task, percival himself knew the steps to take were as fragile as any other in an attempt to string together the hopes of man towards a common sight that no one could tear down. he knew more than anything that a population was every bit as important as every individual soul that resided, and to look at a country was not to look at the mass of its person, but at each individual themselves.
♕ - ; the topic of his brother is a curious one in that percival, while having the utmost respect for aglovale, also knew that his tongue was as sharp as his blade, and to have him speak with a child on ruling a country could only end in such a way he did not want to see the child go through. he was young, and a to be ruler by the way he made it sound out to be–wait. something did not add up properly with what euden was saying in that moment. percival gave an inquisitive look at him, his arms folded.
“ if you’re doing things right.. the way you said that makes it sound as if you’re already in a ruling position over others. tell me.. are you already in such a position of power of a kingdom at your age..? “ if that were the case percival would be.. CONSIDERABLY surprised at the matter.
He respectfully listens to Percival, though hes not really sure what he can add. He can tell that the other feels strongly about their task and they have thought about it a lot. Perhaps even too much? Though could you really overthink trying to bring a peace so great that no more conflict would happen ever.
If anything, Euden already felt like if anyone could do that it would be Percival. If he ever got a chance to see it he would like to. Though with how the two of them were from other worlds, and both stuck in a city that clearly wasn’t anytime soon.
“Well, I guess I am king over New Alberia. When i think back to it, everything happened so fast...“ After all his father had not died too long before that, as well as all the pacts with Dragons and having to fight his siblings. For a moment he wasn’t able to keep up his smile, a bit of his worry coming though. “I just wanted to give the people who were suffering over the new rule of the Dyrenell Empire, and even if i protected them I still was only a prince, I ended up becoming the ruler both as my own choice and the people of New Alberia.“
“But, Its not really that important in the city so I don’t normally bring it up!“ He also didn’t want to be called king, not by anyone that was his friend after all. Hopefully Percival wouldn’t try to start calling him by any fancy title?
At least he didn’t have to explain yet that all his siblings were part of the Dyrenell Empire, and that was part of the reason he really didn’t know what was going on with most of them.
#idealflames#you say 2/3 as if Percival clearly doesn't care for them all#(i mean i get hes a little more mean to vane but he grows to care)#share that smile some more win over hearts
