anyway. i was thinking that we as a fandom should introduce a new tradition! that we all collectively rewatch julie and the phantoms on the 10th of every month to like spike the views and make it reach the trending right now category of netflix!!

call me delusional if you want but i won’t give up and if fighting for season 2 means making new traditions and try to make everyone join in on the plans then so be it! :)

i want every fantom on this earth! to do these things:

rewatch jatp as often as possible

rewatch on the 10th of every month!!

spam “julie and the phantoms season 2” on netflix’s help center

sign the petition online

comment on all of netflix’s own official accounts posts on tiktok, twitter, instagram, etc. begging for a second season. (sooo many people are doing this on tiktok and i love it so damn much)

tell your friends! (this is one of the most important parts honestly! if my friend didn’t show me the show i wouldn’t know it even existed. you could be the reason a new fantom joins our community!)

Set six years after Avalyn helped Adam get away from his uncle and out of Clear Canyon City, now he's on his way back for the summer in the hopes of being able to let go. Despite protests from the family that adopted him, Adam feels returning to the city of his abuse is the only way he'll learn to move on. Meanwhile Avalyn, Nan, and Dillon have decided to make this summer the best summer possible. Dillon is determined he's leaving the city for college as soon as fall rolls around and he doesn't plan to return. They need to spend what time they have left before he's gone. However, Adam showing up again may get in the way of some of their plans.

“Whoa! How’d you get it down?” Luca gasped, crouching down to check on it. Alberta waved a hand in front of his face. “I rode it down.” He hadn’t. Luca’s round eyes turned up towards him in shock or fear. Maybe a hint of admiration. It was nice to see… but he felt a little bad leading him on. “I didn’t.” He clarified. “But I pushed it out the back window.” Luca glanced up at the tower. “And it survived?” Alberto shrugged. “It took awhile to put it back together bu-” “You broke it!?” Luca cut in. “...but it’s fine now.” Luca inspected it once more as if he didn’t believe him. Which… was fair. “So, you ready to test it or what?” Alberto asked, bouncing on his toes. “Uh… Where?” Alberto pointed down the steep side of the hill. The path was smooth, practically begging to be ridden on. And the sea lay just under it, so if anything went wrong it wasn’t like they would be dying. Luca shook his head. “Uh…well… thank you, but no thank you. I mean…I just think maybe I would die.” Alberto shrugged. There would be no dying. It would basically be impossible. He passed over a sturdy piece of wood he had come across long ago. He’d always known that particular piece would come in handy for something truly important. “Fine. I’ll ride. You hold the ramp.” And Luca did. For hours he rode down the hill, trashed their Vespa, rebuilt it with Luca. For hours they chatted under the heat of the sun, and in the pool of deep blue water. Somewhere along the line, hours turned to days, turned to weeks, turned to months. The chill nip of the colder season slowly receded from the air, grass sprung up with new vigor, ready to take on another chance at life.
