So many babies around me so I'm crocheting more than I'm knitting these days. I have a lot of presents to make !

My progress on the handsome chris pullover.

I'm knitting the body in the rounds for now and i'm almost to the part where i will separate the front and back. Hope to finish it before next summer !

A gift for yet again another newborn in my family. ✨✨

An old pattern i made many times, but for this one i used velcro to close it. I was told by the parents that it was easier to manage when you're dealing with a baby ! Even though it will damage the yarn faster.

I really suck at sewing so the thread is visible but at least it looks handmade now ?

Even tho I have been burned by the sweater curse I refuse to be scared by it - I will share my love in this world and to deprive myself of it would be diminishing myself

Noticed this mistake on my sweater like 4 rows previous 😭😭

I've been knitting in the car while others drive me around on my holidays so I must have been distracted. It would take me a day at least to go back because this is a knit-in-the-round sweater in large size. So i tried for the first time to correct it "ladder style".

It actually went really well !!

Took me 5 mins and just another pair of needles.

Don't be scared ! Just try it and enjoy never frogging again in your life.

What i made so far (over the years, not in one go !), vs what is left to spin..

I dunno what i will knit with it once it's done, i don't know if i'll have enough for a sweater. Maybe a scar/shawl ? Because the yarn will be quite hot. If you have any ideas !

Progress this week in TDF :

Made two more rolags with the same blend of white alpaca and grey wool

Started spinning it into a single, that I will Andean ply later.

I'm making progress compared to previous years but my shoulder blades start to ache after a while :(

Decided to make it a lil bit cropped to spice things up. It's so warm and comfy.

Crochet jellyfish i made for a friend's mom a few years back. She sent me a photo of its final home. 🐚🪸

Crochetted a blanket with some scrap yarns i got after frogging a Harry Potter scarf. Felt amazing to turn old rubbish into a precious, confortable item 🏳️‍⚧️

First day of tdf : i finished spinning with my drop spindle a rolag i made last year. And i plyed two singles from the same yarns.

This is 80% white alpaca yarn that i blended with 20% roughly of grey wool i bought in a farm, to balance a bit the alpaca.

For the last rolag, i used Andean plying because I had a single, and i think the yarn is a little bit less fluffy (on the left on the picture.). Do you guys have any tips for this technique ? But it could also be that this year i spun more thinly than last year...
