It's always interesting when I realise how many cultural differences there are in every day life. Ive watched a funny video about Eastern European (even though technically greece isn't Eastern Europe — it's definitely on its own category but that will go off topic, i include it here cause it fits) complaining is part of the daily culture (that mild complaining, usually but even with complete strangers), "our culture is having an intermediate level of dissatisfaction. Don't be too happy cause that's suspicious, why are you happy? Don't be too unhappy cause you're depressed...but complain and gossip!" as the girl says and I was like !!!! I hadn't realised that before but it's so true. whilst in other cultures I've noticed, like in the USA, that's frowned upon (?) in a way, like the girl "you're ruining the vibes!". Which is... so interesting
#obviously not only Americans do this and not all Americans#but I hope you know what I mean#that's where my complaining comes from lol#I am always open to chatting about cultural differences
