Marry Merthur Month 2019
Who’s ready for yet another Merlin fandom fest?
Marry Merthur Month is a month long BBC Merlin fest taking place in October! This fest is all about marrying off our favourite medieval couple, Merlin Emrys and Arthur Pendragon. Can include anything from the proposal, to the ceremony, to the wedding night, just as long as it’s related to or about them getting married.
Any and all mediums are welcome!
There is no submission or word count limitations, so whether you don’t have time for much, or you want to go all out, we’re happy to see what you create!
Submissions are to be posted to the Ao3 collection, and each one can be linked to here on the tumblr! We have a LiveJournal as well, but all we’ll be doing there is a weekly summary of the entries.
Please read the FAQ for more info!
While we’re trying to be organized, ultimately we want to keep it casual. As the fest is still new, there may be some details that need ironing out. If you have a suggestion or a question, please don’t hesitate to send it in! Any help is appreciated. :) Since there are still a couple months to go, there may be a few changes, so look out for updates!

“Then I would have to go in the other room and look.”

Simon Amstell is gifting us with another extract on his instagram.
Simon says at the Everyman King’s Cross Q&A that this peculiar pun is quite making him laugh.

“For a start, taken on an audiobook I’ve had the notion that it would be quite an intimidating prospect, something I always wanted to do but delving into it and looking at the prospect of actually doing it is a kind of a different beast.” — Colin Morgan on ‘The Worldship Humility’
