Love confessions?

In different countries confessions are vastly different but the one that started in Japan has to be my favorite confession in the form of a short question that originated from japanese literature and their pop culture. The moon is beautiful isn't it? It's the most indirect but direct love confession meaning i love you in japan because simply saying i love you was considered shameless of some sort in the country. It's a simple question: a person who’s in love with the other asks the question, the moon is beautiful isn't it? Awaiting their answer, their response can mean two things if they agree(‘It’s true, isn’t it’) , it’s an acknowledgement and acceptance of your love. If they don't agree it’s a rejection. In my eyes it's the most direct but indirect confession i've ever seen. As a lover of the sky when I learnt of this I was in a daze to how someone came up with something so simple yet beautiful.

Would you gaze at the sky with the one you love enjoying the beauty of not only the moon and sky but also of the person next to you and the moment yall have together? Would you ask this question and confess your love in this manner? I know I would, as weird as it may seem to others. It seems like a fun concept of a simple confession.

A sky full of stars but yet he only looks to her, his star......

Princess and the frog is a lovely movie aint it. It has some  of the most heartfelt music and scenes that’d make even a heart of stone swoon, it’s a movie just filled with love from all directions including the love I have for such a heartfelt piece. My favorite scene has to be when that firefly Ray sang for his love that was a star, he had no doubt in his heart that that was his Evangeline, I’m sure when many people witnessed that they too wished to be someone's Evanegline. That song in itself is so pure, filled with love, utter admiration and it’s so heartwarming everytime you listen to it. That show not only shaped my view of love but it also shaped my little heart.When I saw it for the first time at 5 years old I was stunned by every little thing that happened and fell in love with not only the movie and its message but also with every character, they were hard not to love. Lets not forget that moment where Naveen was ready to risk all he has ever known to simply give Tiana the life she all so desired and worked so hard for , all so she wouldn't have to do it alone. That was one of the most honest forms of love I’ve witnessed. Though it may not make everyone's top list of favorite disney princess movies it sure did make mine in the best way possible. 

A happy ending always gives us a slight hope that we too can experience such love , to love and to be loved.

What is love? When I hear this statement, unlike others the song that comes to my mind is  What is love? by Twice  the kpop group probably because of the kpop industry's great impact on me but that's not the point, what song does this question remind you of, feel free to share.

What is love? If you were to be ask what is love? What would be your thoughts on the topic ? Would it be one concrete answer, a simple I'm not sure or a spiral of many answers ? Love is such a contradicting topic with its positive aspects, negative aspects , ups and downs. Some people have great experiences with it, others have the opposite or even maybe a combination of both. No one person experiences love completely like the other due to many factors. Love in the fonts of dru, I experience love even though it’s more on the scary side to me. I experience love, in the movies I watched as a kid and the nostalgia I get from rewatching them. In the memories I hold dear to my heart. In admiration of the sky in its many versions, pretty to others or not, it's always beautiful to me. When I read romance books that makes me kick my feet and blush like a 13 year old having their first real crush. While hanging with my friends, understanding and appreciating them for who they are and even in the rare I love yous I receive from my parents that are accompanied with their home cooked meals. What is love? Love is an experience, it's the moments we all go through and put others through , it's the appreciation of knowing we are loved the way we love, it's the feeling of such strong and undeniable emotions of pure affection and gratitude. that is love in the font of dru.
