What is “NORM”?

I am pretty sure it never occurred to people how judgmental they are. Have you ever once thought that that rude comment you made about a 300lb. girl in public saying “ew, look how fat she is?” may have made her cry that night? or when you told that African American guy “you’re cute for a dark skin guy” might have made him feel like he does not get lovers because he is not a certain color? did it ever consider to you that that really skinny girl you pointed at with your friends may have anorexia bulimia? probably not. my question is when did this become normal? when did society make this shallow list of standards that people rudely place into the world? when did people stop caring about karma? when did people start lacking these emotions? if you are comfortable being one of these people then I can GUARANTEE you that this blog site is NOT for you! love your NORM simply means that no individual is an outkast and respect them. we don’t realize we send out messages that cause people to feel, depress, stress, suppress, hurt, have low or no self-esteem. although you went about your day, it was just a joke to you, or a statement to you, someone else may have internalized that. made it “their problem”. what i am purposely and blatantly saying is that we are all NORMAL. a man out here loves that 300lb girl for exactly how she is, and who is anyone to suggest she is not amazing or deserving enough due to her weight? a woman out here loves to date darker skin men. he is totally her type and there is nothing you can do about that. a girl is battling with her eating disorder and for your own reasons you thought your pointing was necessary. we have to stop thinking that people should just crawl in boxes, or die, or run away just because what they are doing or look like isn’t normal to YOU. i think that is a very selfish thought actually. each and EVERY individual on this planet has a reason to love their entire life. they have personality, strengths, passions, beauty��s, knowledge, drive, excellence, hardships, and a bunch of other things that make them them. to try to take that away from them is incredibly sad. and i cannot consider a person who lives to make someones day bad, or spews out negativity as a character quality, or is not helping to a person in need a “good” person. there is so much for me to blog about and bring to the light. hopefully people will begin to make changes. our team at Love Your Norm’s sole purpose is to help people get through ANY thing they are going through and to constantly remind everyone that you are your kind of NORMAL! do not feel different. truth is you probably do not want to be anything like the people that made you feel that way or you do “think” is “normal!
