Story time.

When I was young, I was way too obsessed with the Mario series. All I would consume and talk about is mario stuff.

I'd have these terrible headaches as a toddler so, whenever my parents put head balm on me, I'd imagine the head balm was mario and the headache was Bowser.

Before going to sleep, I'd always think about killing Bowser and, Mario would be so impressed that he'd pass on his powers to me as I'm the chosen one. I'd waste printer ink printing renders of Mario and friends and would put them in my school bag to show my friends.

You know how weebs wish their anime person was real? I wished mario was real. But now, I think you all get the idea of how obsessed I was with mario (I still am but not to a disturbing amount).

Yesterday, when walking into the Mario movie, there was this kid (probably like 7-8 idk) who was running into the theatre early. His mom was telling him that they had 10 minutes before the movie starts and it would be wise to buy some popcorn but, this Chad responded with,"Who cares? It's Mario."

When the movie started, he was just nerding out to his mom about who Shigeru Miyamoto was and what games the mario movie was referencing. Usually I get pissed off when people talk loudly in a movie theatre but this was an exception. Bro reminded me of myself when I was young and it was really nostalgic and nice to see. To add onto this, my sibling immediately told me,"This kid reminds me of you when you were young."

I know :`). Haha.

I just wanted to talk about my favorite things from this year, fan-content or otherwise, so here we go!

XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 3 - MOEBIUS SWEEEEEP

This game was one of my favorite games of this year. i was SO excited when the game was announced, and man did it deliver! My personal favorite character was Sena, she has no thoughts going through that head of hers 99% of the time, and when she does have thoughts, they are pure ":3 Haiiiii". anyways, speaking of personal favorites...

PERSONA 5 ROYAL - ITS A GAME, THEY ARE ROBOT AI CHALLENGING YOU!!

this game was fun! it had a perfect balance between super fun gameplay and engaging story, and man the characters- i love them all for different reasons. some highlights: Yusuke Kitagawa: He is so me fr, just a challenged soul (and also very stupid)

Yoshizawa: I think she deserved better... maybe if she was the persona 5 femc... Goro Akechi: This one is because he is Badshit Insane. Anyways, Moving on from persona 5, and older game that caught my eye near the end of the year... BLAZBLUE SERIES- THE WHEEL OF FATE IS TURNING

this game series' story is so... weird. its so complex and hard to understand yet also so simple to understand if explained right... idk. give it chance if you like fighting games.

and last but not least, let me thank SLICK SLIVER and DASHING TOADIE for giving me my undertale content for the year with smorgasbord, check out their undertale content here!
