Idk wiy this popped into my hed but I thought it would be funny,

MK struggling to manage his tale and hand feet aka accidently grabbing things with his tale or his tale getting caught in stuff like doors or branches same gose with his feet him just accidently grabbing something or him having to re-lern how to walk normally with his new feet and him being to stubborn/embarrassed to ask for help or advice and mac just watching this unfold fore the furst wile sins it's cinda funny till he steps in not directly but just little things like walking next to mk to make shore he doesn't trip or fall or stopping doors from closing on mk's tale.

Sorry fore the long yap just though it was a funny idea mk having to re-lern base things and being grumpy about it.

MK often forget he have a tail when he's walking around so he end up slamming it everywhere and trip on it- so yes he's very grumpy about it lmao

Macaque does give him some advices for controlling his tail and make sure he doesn't trip because of it🫵

after that MK wear shoes most of the time, and occasionally don't wear them to get used to his monkey feet✨

Does MK have shadow powers?

he does! He can make shadow portal, shadow clones and objects out of shadows!

he can't merge with the shadow like macaque, but can create any kind of objects out of shadow like Wukong created things out of his hair! His shadow portals allow him to teleport where he desire and do what I draw in the sketch there they work in a similar way as the eliatrope portals from wakfu🫵

Will something bad happen to new past mk ? Like death or possession or something ? Or is this purely an Au to give him a happy ending ? Both are great options.

Ye it's not an au with heavy angst. There is angst, but it's not extreme enough to kill MK- I do make him suffer, but it's more trauma from the previous cycle and the struggle to get used to this new life😌 I don't plan for him to get posssessed either, but I'm an indecisive person, so I might change this in the future✨

So for new past: does mk ever interact with the original noodle gang (once they exist again) before he would have known them?

Like, imagine him seeing a young Pigsy working the noodle shop with his parents (and getting to meet grandma pigsy) or he like, gives a seminar at whatever school/university Tang was at when learning history/lore.

The big one that made me think of this though, would he ever meet Sandy before he learned to control his anger? I would love to see mk getting to know that old part of him, and how different it may be from his idea of Sandy. Like what a shock to the system to finally see his gentle giant and hes like, a violent soldier or something (lots of fan works give him a military background, probably because Wujing was a general in heaven pre-journey)

Even if he's tries to not influence their journeys, I cant imagine he just stays away from them after like, 1500 years of waiting (or longer depending on timeframes)

okay so first: I love your ideas for each interactions! But I don't really plan to have MK meet the gang before he knew them😔 He does interact with them as MK at the same time he knew them ( so a few years before the start of the show) My main idea was that seeing them before he knew them would be too weird for MK. He would watch them for afar, but not interact with them. If he does interact and talk to them the way you said, he would glamour himself to not look like either MK (his human disguise) or Qi Xiaotian. Otherwise they would find it weird how MK didn't age at all after so many years 🫵 So if I do add this, it would be very small interactions, or he stay around them for a short time, and MK would shapeshift/glamour to have a different appearance Anyway I am someone who is struggling to make decision ✨

Well first he need to tell them he's in fact not human, that he's the monkey prince of Flower Fruit Mountain✨ And yes, he does tell them he's from the previous cycle. I'm not saying more😌✨

How floofy do the monkeys get after bath? (New past au)

To answer: very floofy for Wukong and MK😌

their fur poof when it dried, so it's extra fluffly and have a lot more volume✨

and for Macaque, his fur become very silky and soft. and lose a bit of volume.

I forgot to include Meihua, but as a cub her fur would fluff a lot, but as she grow up, it become more silky like👀
