Q is a sadistic little gremlin who finds pleasure in the chaos caused by their curse but that is not their entire personality. It is a core and recognizable trait of Q and it is very important to their character but they are also a lost and confused child who only knows that they are hurting and that they want to hurt those who have hurt them. Q has no recollection of who they once were or if they simply had always been this way.

Q is very creative. An outside-of-the-box thinker. An ISTP Capricorn or a Ravenclaw. They like finger painting and any other hands on activity that often results in a big mess.

I already stated above that Q’s zodiac sign is Capricorn but now I must note down when exactly his birthday is. I don’t think they themself even remember when their birthday is but I do remember them having one which is January 4.

of course.. a freak, a monster, a weapon. things they have been called their entire life but ever once acknowledged as just a child. q held their doll close to their chest as they sat in solidarity confinement. why them? why did it have to be them? they never asked to be given this curse! they never asked to even be born at all!

while, yes, they did find pleasure in all the chaos and carnage that came with their curse but they also hated their curse- hated themself. their sadistic personality having been what led to them being locked up in here.

eventually, a twisted smile crossed their face as slowly laughter built up. a very deranged and bizarre kind of laughter. you could tell this child had lost their mind a long time ago.

the anon stared at the child in fear. slowly backing away from the bars that separated the two of them. “ wh- what’s so funny? “

q soon looked up at the anon with that sadistic look in their eyes, their twisted smile reaching ear to ear as they stopped in their maniacal laughter. “ oohh!~ it’s just funny.. seeing a grown man be scared of a little kid like me, that’s all!” they stated before letting out a creepy little chuckle.

“ no! you know full well you’re not any little kid!” the anon retorted, “ you’re a- you’re a demon! a monster! some sort of twisted creature that looks like a kid - but you are most certainly not one. “

backstory -

their ability had been nothing but a curse to q ever since they were born.

being the cause of their parents’ death before they could even remember them.

yet still q carried around their doll wherever they went, to every orphanage they were sent to. going as far as to give the doll a name. though the doll was the source of their curse, teru was also q’s one and only companion throughout their life.

they had no one. no family, no home. all they had was the clothes on their back, themself and teru.

so, naturally the only place for someone like them would be the port mafia.

at first, q was just kept under ogai mori’s watch. this lasting for a few months or so before dazai figured out their ability and the port mafia immediately wanted to try and weaponize it.

but this would be a grave mistake. for dogra magra cannot distinguish between friends and foes.

with so many mafia casualties as a result, mori pinned the blame on q and had dazai lock the child away.

years after this incident, however, q would be released only to be captured by the guild and be used all over again. forced to suffer extreme physical and emotional trauma.. feeling every instance of pain the trees “felt” while ensnared in steinback’s ability.
