"My arms are poison and I am dangerous
and they just told me I'm so crazy, I'm contagious."
-Monica Justice
Clark Kent was the true villain of Smallville. At first, he was a reluctant villain, but by the end, he embraced it and no one could convince me otherwise.
Hey. Don't feel bad about what we did. Janet was gonna put me in a psych ward. You saved me. And Doug? Eh. We just wanted his hand. And now look what you can do with it. That hand… was gonna do terrible things. And now it’s a… it’s a conduit for the talent of REO Speedwagon.

I finished The Angel of Indian Lake recently and there were so many feelings. I was originally just going to say a couple of things and it got away from me so I just did it this way. If you want to read my rambling, cool, if not, long story short: Stephen Graham Jones is fucking awesome, Jade Daniels is 100% my Final Girl of all final girls, and the Indian Lake Trilogy is such a good read on so many levels so everyone should read it.
There is an amazing amount of depth and heart to it that you just don't usually see in horror fiction and on top of that, the trilogy starts out as a total love letter to 80s slashers and final girls, with the real surprise being the protagonist, half-Blackfeet and full outcast Jade Daniels, the rebel girl who is always in trouble for something and has memorized everything about every slasher film (up to that point) while praying for a real slasher to hit her town of Proofrock, Idaho, but be careful what you wish for, right? Love her!! Lots of subplot about the colonization and takeover of Native lands, as SGJ is a Native American writer and that figures into his work. So much depth. Anyway, did I say this was the short version??? Just read the books! 😂🔪🖤🫀🩸
I am not an Adam Sandler fan but I *love* this movie. I realize at least part of it is because the 80s are my era (I'm early GenX), but this scene right here kills me every single time 😂😂😂
THE WEDDING SINGER | 1998
↳ Directed by Frank Coraci
I am such a huge Shakespeare fan and I absolutely adore this adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew. Julie Stiles always gets me with that last bit, even after easily 100 watches. 😭
But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.
HAPPY 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU (1999)!
Mad Monster Party 2024 I finally got to meet John Glover who is literally the sweetest man ever!! Also saw Tom Welling for the 5th (?) time and didn't have enough cash so I couldn't get a pic w/ Rosenbaum (😭) although I've met him a bunch of times before and my daughter is really shy & Welling is the only one who doesn't freak her out anyway so it all worked out.
This was beautiful. And then because the writers at that time clearly were having some kind of Whedon-esque relationship with their source material, decided to just say "Yeah, we're just kidding. Clark's never going to revisit this again. We hate Lex and the wonderfully complex characterization the writers in the first three or four seasons set up for him so you can just forget about that! Instead, we're going to turn him into a boring, sad, 2-dimensional shell of his original self. Hahahaha"
This was commissioned by @rainwasheseverythingaway for @luthwhore as a bit of a companion piece to the one she commissioned a few months back and, naturally, I’ll never say no to Clex lol. Shy first kisses and bi realisations >>>>>
I’m really happy with how this turned out!! it was my first time drawing the barn and i hope i captured the warmth and coziness of it :3
