Hiatus and coming back

Hello to those who have stumbled upon my blog and follow me! It's been a long time I haven't posted stuff, but I'd like to thank whoever sees this, as now that I have a working PC I can resume drawing and such.

It will take a bit before I draw in a healthy shape, but I've been thru a rehab adventure (still ongoing) and just recently I managed to get the hardware and mental requirements to draw again!

This is a post for eventual italians who want to join my new Discord server!

Ciao a tutti! Alla pubblicazione di questo post, il mio server Discord sarà aperto al pubblico. Si tratta di una nuovissima Community per persone di qualsiasi background e consapevolezza che sono attirate da temi esoterici come i Tarocchi, la Numerologia, l'Alchimia, etc.

E' una Community che parte dallo zero assoluto e molto probabilmente nessuno si conosce a vicenda, ma si è fortemente e caldamente incoraggiati darci un occhio se vi può interessare! Abbiamo vari canali anche per l'espressione artistica di ogni tipo, dalla scrittura al disegno, e tanto altro. Il server è in lingua italiana, e il minimo di età per entrare sono dai 15 anni in sù.

Per riferimenti futuri, @luxitarot sarà il blog dedicato per questo tipo di contenuti.

Wynncraft - Homepage illustration

Getting the opportunity to be part of the Wynncraft project as the artist back in 2012/2013 was something else: during the late stages of conception leading towards the closed beta I got the chance to shape the base of the aesthetic of the website that would evolve into something I'd never have imagined in game.

In 2015 I left the team due to health situations and kinda drifted apart from catching up with the game, but when i got back in early 2024, I couldn't be more proud of the new, bigger Team behind the game and how faithful they stayed to the original aesthetic.. I hope I can do justice not only to the vision conceived in the past, but also to the much polished and intricate aesthetic the Team has brought upon the table. I feel more powerful as an artist now that I know I'm not alone!

I got the chance to work on a little rework of Rymek Luke's design for MMORPG Wynncraft.

My favorite part of the character to do was to design his Sundown Poncho clothing piece, which is a drop that the boss can drop upon death.

I'd like to show to whoever stumbles upon this post a little project I'm doing in my free time. It would be a Marseille inspired Tarot deck in the key of Medieval-ish animal things. Trying to stay true to the source material and to its hidden and encrypted symbolism, I also try to reppresent and explore some concepts that come to me by my own intuition, experience, culture and instinct.

Here's the first 4 cards of the 22 Major Arcana: The Magician (I), The High Priestess (II), The Empress (III) and the Emperor (IV).

In this project I aim to draw the 22 Major Arcana. If I successfully do that, I might think about the 56 Minor Arcana..
