It can happen gradually, feeling the first few drops on your skin so you prepare and grab your umbrella. Sometimes it comes in a fast downpour and there’s nothing you can do but run through the storm and get completely soaked. Either way, you ultimately end up back home where you can dry yourself off and make yourself feel warm and cozy. Confusing break up

Okay internet. I know you have heard a lot of break up stories before. I'll spare all the details for now. Long story short: the love of my life broke up with me because he thought I was cheating even though I had not cheated. Not even close. I wanted to marry this person. He had convinced himself that a stream of random events (such as rushing home to clean up dishes or a laundry mix up with my brother in law) provided proof that I was unfaithful. How do you get over someone who is blaming you for hurting them, when you actually didn't do that? At first I thought maybe this was an excuse and not the real reason. He stuck to this story. I tried to point out that there wasn't any "real" evidence (like phone calls, texts, someone seeing me, me being distant) and that his evidence is far fetched. He seems paranoid. A lot of people say that he is not the person I should be with if he's like this. But I loved this person and wanted to commit to him for my whole life. I don't know how to move on. I want him to know that I didn't cheat but he still doesn't believe me. I'm honestly so lost.
