A Fresh New Start 

Episode 1: Freedom and the Will 

Sypnosis: After Being locked away for so long from the outside world, You’re finally set free once you turn 18. One of the first things you receive along with your belongings is a letter inviting you to a hearing of your late Grandmothers will. Assuming you’d get nothing since most of your family considered you the Black Sheep of the family—your surprised to find she indeed left something in her will for you alright

Content warnings: Mentions of mental health issues, HEALED SH scars, She/Her pronouns for Reader, This is very strictly PLATONIC for ALL the objects since reader is freshly 18 (I know that’s technically an adult but it still ends in TEEN)

You don’t know how long you’d been sitting in your room, patiently waiting for one of the nurses to let you out. Today was the day—the day where you’d finally be free of this hospital. It wasn’t necessarily a bad hospital, you’d just gotten sick of the same routine and all the medicine they’d given you. You’d made a good handful of friends out of the other patients in the mental hospital—even going as far as to say you’d gotten close to one of the nurses that took care of you during your stay. Distracted by your own thoughts, you hadn’t realized the door to your room opening—and older nurse walking in with a bag of clothes and a few other things.

“Hey there sugar”

The nurse’s eyes crinkled, clearly smiling behind her mask. You snapped out of your thoughts at the sound of her sweet voice—a smile gracing your lips as you immediately recognized her voice.

“Hi Miss K”

You happily greeted as she placed your items on your bed next to you. You stood up and engulfed her in a hug, her happily returning the gesture. Miss K had been the nurse who stayed by you throughout most of your stay at the mental hospital—believing that you really weren’t as insane as your family made you out to be. “Oh—you must be so excited to finally be getting out today, huh?” She chuckled softly, holding your hand with a tight grip of her own. You gave her a quick nod, “I’m so excited to finally be able to go outside again.” You’d been stuck in here so long that you have been wanting to feel the sun hitting against your skin without the giant fences in the way.

“Oh, that’s so wonderful sugar—I’m really gonna miss you” she engulfed you in another hug—this one more tight than the last. It was clear that while she was happy for you, she was also upset herself to see you go. A sympathetic smile formed on your lips, clearly just upset. You hugged her just as tight, “I’m really gonna miss you too Miss K” you muttered. After a few more minutes, you both finally pulled away from the hug as she wiped the tears that were forming in her eyes. She motioned to your clothes and the belongings your family had apparently dropped off while you were here. “Here’s all of your stuff we have here, get changed so I can walk you out” You looked up at her with a confused expression. “Wait—is no one here waiting for me?” You questioned with a confused tone.

She looked back at you with a sympathetic expression. You knew you really shouldn’t have been surprised by the answer but it still hurt. She walked out of the room, giving you privacy so you could change. You let out a small sigh as you looked over everything you had. Your guitar, your skateboard, your headphones and phone, and some extra pocket change you family had at least the decency to send you. You simply rolled your eyes as you began taking off the grey sweatpants and sweater the hospital gave the patients. As you changed, you looked down at the old healed scars on your thighs. You ignored them, deciding to continue changing into your clothes. Once you finished, you slipped your guitar cover over your shoulder and put your phone, headphone, and pocket change in your pants pockets. You grabbed you skateboard and held it in your hand.

You walked out of the door, seeing Miss K standing there—waiting for you with a small smile on her face. You noticed an envelope and a bag in her hands, raising a brow. Miss K simply smiled as she looked over your outfit, “Well don’t you just look like a ray of sunshine!” You shook your head, an embarrassed flush on your cheeks. You gave her a little twirl, wanting to show off your outfit. “What do you think? Does it look good enough for my first day out?” You joked. Miss K only let out a laugh of her own. She quickly held up the envelope towards me with a smile. “Your mother dropped this off for you along with some of your stuff ” she answered. You carefully grabbed the envelope from her, studying it. “Did she say what it was?” You questioned, raising a brow suspiciously. She only shook her head, “Sorry Sugar, she didn’t mention what it was—why don’t you open it?” She suggested.

You shrugged, not finding it a big deal and you practically ripped it open to find a letter inside. You were even more confused now. You opened the letter and were shocked to see that it was an invitation to a hearing to your apparently dead grandmothers Will. You were shocked to say the least—did no one in your family really not think to let you know that the only member of your family that loved and cared about you had DIED while you were stuck in the place they had locked you up in? You couldn’t believe it, you knew your family were a bunch of dicks but you really didn’t believe they could stoop THAT low. You carefully read over the letter, looking for the address, date, and time of where the hearing would be heard. You found out that not only was it being held at your grandmothers house, but it was being held in LESS THAN AN HOUR?!

You panicked, noting that the hospital you were in and your grandmothers house was an hour away. “I–I gotta go Miss K, thank you for like everything you’ve done for me—“ You quickly informed as you gave her a quick and final hug, wanting to get out as soon as possible so you weren’t late. Miss K only stared at you confused, “oh—well don’t forget your medicine sugar, and don’t forget to refill it once you’re out” Miss K stammered as she handed you the bag. You flashed her a quickly smile before you walked out the door, getting on your skateboard as You began zooming towards your grandmothers house, hoping to make it as soon as possible.

As you skated through the city you’d grown up in, you finally had the time to actually process the fact that your grandmother was dead—your best friend was dead. You honestly didn’t expect to receive much in her will, believing she left all of her belongings to your mother and your siblings. Even so, you thought the least you could do was show up the the Will hearing. You shrugged it off, trying to focus on getting to the house as quickly as possible. You decided to take the shortcuts you’d discovered during your exploring phase as an early teenager before getting sent to a mental hospital by you parents.

AT THE HOUSE

You don’t even get a chance to notice the lack of vehicles as you practically jumped off your skateboard and burst the door open, clearly out of breath. “S–Sorry I’m late…I—I was..” you take a moment to take a breath. You finally look up and pause, only seeing the lawyer in the room. You raise a brow, clearly confused by the lack of presence in the room. “Where’s everyone else..?” You let out a shaky laugh, trying to find any excuse in the book as to why no one else was here. The lawyer simply shook his head, “No one but else but you have shown up, even if you were late” he informed. You looked around the familiar house, not used to the silence. The lawyer sensing my shock, began speaking once more. “It’s not like the others not showing up is an issue though, considering all of your grandmother’s belongings went straight to you” he added.

You stared at him, completely shocked. What..? What do you mean everything went to me. “Sit down so we can start the hearing” he motioned to the couch. You hesitantly walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. While you were busy trying to process the fact that your family hadn’t bothered to show up and that everything was now yours, the lawyer was simply getting things out of his briefcase. He placed a folder of papers in front of you on the coffee table. He grabbed an envelope from the case and opened it, pulling out a letter. He put on his glasses as he opened the letter, getting ready to read the letter. Before he began to speak, you held your hand up to stop him. “You don’t have to read the whole thing, just tell me the important bits” you spoke with a defeated tone.

The lawyer raised a brow at me before letting out a small sigh. He read over the will briefly before he began speaking up again. “She left her entire life savings for you, this house is now under your name and fully paid off, and she left you a pair of…sunglasses” he then pulled out a box, placing it in front of you and right next to the folder of papers. “I’m very sorry for your loss and that your family didn’t care enough to show up to this hearing..” he spoke with a sympathetic tone as be began to pack up his briefcase. You slowly reached for the box, opening it to reveal a pair of glasses that you didn’t even remember your grandma owning. You frowned at his words, grabbing the sunglasses out of the box and gently holding it in your hands. “They didn’t even care enough to let me know she died…” you muttered.

The lawyer simply frowned as he closed up his briefcase. He walked up to you and placed a comforting hand on your shoulder. “The paper work for the house and bank account are in that folder, be sure to put it in a safe so you don’t risk losing it” he spoke before he began walking out the door. You silently watched as he walked out the door and closed the door. You stayed sat down on the couch with the glasses in hand.

Sypnosis: As Newt’s adoptive daughter from the future, you tell some of the main group members ‘I Love You’

Newt Scamander:

He’s practically your dad at this point, you’ve said I love you to him so many times. But the first time you did, it caught him off guard

You had almost been killed by Grindlewald if it hadn’t been for Jacob. You had watched as Queenie joined Grindlewald and Leta, Theseus fiancé, had been killed trying to save the twin brothers. You were panicking, trying to figure out what to do before Jacob had dragged you out. The Protego Diabolica dragons had gotten loose thanks to Grindlewald as everyone was was escaping, trying not to get burned by the blue flames. You had been so focused on desperately trying to find Newt, you were hardly paying any attention to the fight that was happening before you. A few hours prior, you and him had gotten in a massive argument resulting both of your feelings hurt.

You honestly couldn’t even remember what the argument was exactly about. Probably Newt telling you you couldn’t come along to find Leta since it was to dangerous. You probably got upset and started a whole argument about it but that wasn’t the point. The one thing you remembered so vividly from that argument was what YOU said to Newt. “Maybe I should go back to my time so I don’t have to deal with you babying me all the time!” Was all you remembered saying. After that it was all a blur but to this moment you regretted saying that so much. You wanted to make it up to him, to apologize for ever even saying that. In all honesty, he never even asked for any of this. You didn’t want him to feel guilty about anything at all.

You kept looking around as you and Jacob ran, trying to so desperately find Newt. You didn’t want the last conversation you two had to be the argument you had, you’d never live with yourself if that were the case. Finally, you spotted Newt and his brother in the corner of your eyes. You wanted to scream out to him before realizing that they were doing something with their wands. You realized everyone was doing the same thing and thought it probably was for the best to not say anything in fear of distracting them. You and Jacob watched as the blue dragons flew, wreaking havoc.

You wanted to find some way to help them so bad but it wasn’t really like you or Jacob could do much, I mean you were both just muggles after all. You two simply stayed behind the barrier created by the wands that were shoved in the ground. After they had finally managed to be contained the dragons back in, you quickly separated from Jacob and began running towards him. “Newt!” You called out as you wrapped your arms around his neck. “Y-Y/N!?” He sounded surprised as you hugged him. “I’m so sorry dad, I don’t mean anything I said. I love you and I love being here with you!” You began rambling as you apologized to him, not really realizing anything you were saying.

Newt simply looked at you surprised as you spoke, apologizing to him. He was caught off guard when you said I love you to him AND called him dad. He was really starting to realize how much he loved you like his daughter too. He simply smiled as he wrapped one arm around you. Even though he didn’t say it back, you know he did too.

Theseus Scamander:

Theseus started seeing you as a niece now that Newt was now considered your dad by everyone so that means he likes spoiling you sometimes with gifts

Theseus had sent you yet again another gift. Judging by the size of the box, you had already guessed it was another dress he thought you’d like. It’s not like you minded though considering you needed clothes to make sure you matched the time period so people didn’t get suspicious. You absolutely loved his gifts though, plus he had some pretty nice style. What you didn’t expect though was for him to pay you and Newt a visit. The sound of the door echos through the house as your putting the dress away. “I’ll get it!” The sound of Bunty’s voiced was not far behind.

You quickly put your dress away before walking downstairs to see who was at the door. A large smile forms on your face when you realize it was Theseus. “Uncle Theseus!” You quickly run down the stairs and jump into his arms. “Hey kiddo! Did ya like the gift I sent ya?” He chuckled as as gladly accepted the hug. “I loved it!” You exclaimed excitedly. “Glad ya liked it kid, hey where my brother? I need him back at the ministry” he asked as he looked around the house, his brother no where in sight. “He’s probably in the basement tending to his creatures, I can go get him for you if you’d like?” Bunty said as she looked at him. “That would be helpful” he smiled as her put his hands in his jacket pockets. “Alright, I’ll be right back” Bunty said before going to retrieve him.

“It was good to see ya again uncle Theseus but I gotta go back to my room and finish cleaning up, love ya!” You gave him one last hug before scurrying back to your room. You hadn’t even realized what you said until you’d gotten to your room. Theseus on the other hand was caught off guard as he watched you go back to your room. Finally, a soft smile formed on his lips before speaking. “Heh..love ya too kid..” he softly smiled before looking over as Bunty was bringing Newt along with her.

Jacob Kowalski:

While feeling slightly home sick, Jacob managed to make a delicious sweet treat that you desperately missed

You had recently been having a feeling of home sickness the longer you were there. As much as you loved it there and all the lovely people you met, you couldn’t help but miss your old life back in the future. Jacob happened to notice this as you seemed more down than usual. He decided he’d help make you feel better by doing what he does best, baking. He’d ask his lovely wife Queenie to scoop through your mind and find some pastry that you missed. They’d both finally landed on a (F/P). He had gone through so many recipe books to find exactly what you wanted.

Him and Queenie had gone to go visit you and Newt as he held a basket filled with the pastry. He saw you in the kitchen as you looked around, probably for something to eat. “Hey kiddo!” He had a large smile as he walked towards you. You looked at him slightly confused but gave him a small smile, trying to match his energy. “Hi Uncle Jacob..” you noticed the basket in his hands and looked at it with a curious gaze. Jacob noticed this before motioning the basket to you. “Oh this is for you kid!” You took the basket and opened it, the smell of (F/P) filling your nose.

“Is this…(F/P)..?” You asked, looking up at him with a slightly surprised expression. Jacob’s smile widened as he nodded. “Yeah, I just noticed how down you seemed and guessed you might be feeling slightly home sick so what better way than to make a sweet treat you miss” he watched as You took one out and took a bite out of it. A large smile made its way to your face as the exact taste you remember hits your taste buds. “It’s exactly like I remember…how did you..?” You spoke as you looked up at him. You didn’t remember telling him this was your favorite.

“Well when you got a lovely wife like mine, you learn a thing or two” he motioned to Queenie who was talking to Bunty. You immediately knew what he was referring to but you weren’t upset that Queenie had read your mind. In fact, you weren’t upset quite grateful she did then you wouldn’t have a basket filled with (F/P) right now. You smiled at Jacob as you placed the basket down and gave him a hug. “Thanks Uncle Jacob..love ya” you spoke. Jacob only let out an embarrassed chuckle as he hugged you back. He was caught off guard but he appreciated the reaction he got out of it.

Tina Goldstein:

She gladly listens as you rant, making you feel grateful to have someone who listens

“I just don’t understand why he doesn’t let me help him sometimes…” you sigh. You and Tina were both in your room, Tina listening as you spoke. You had been complaining about Newt, how he wouldn’t let you help him or Bunty with some of the creatures because he doesn’t want you to tire yourself. You knew it was a lie though, he just simply refuses to let you help whenever he’s dealing with the more aggressive creatures towards you, like the kelpie for example.

“I’ve helped him with the other creatures before I just…I don’t understand how this is any different..” you lean your head on your beds headboard. Tina looks at you with a sympathetic smile. “He’s only trying to look out for you Y/N…he cares a lot about you” she said as she placed a hand on top of yours, trying to reassure you. “I know I just…I just wish he had more faith in me Y’know??” You looked up at her again before adjusting your seat so now you were sitting next to her on your bed. You rested your head on her shoulder, feeling somewhat comforted by her presence.

“You’re a good listener Tina…” I looked down at the floor as I spoke to her. “I’m glad Newt met someone as sweet as you..” I smiled as I remembered how excited Newt seemed whenever she was brought up in the conversation. Tina simply smiled as she rested her head on top of yours with a soft chuckle. “You’re so sweet..” Tina whispered. “Love ya..” you suddenly let out, you hadn’t even realized what you said before it was to late. Tina on the other hand was actually quite shocked at what you said. That shock didn’t last long before that sweet smile formed on her face.

“I love you too Y/N” she smiles as you two enjoy the peaceful silence. You hadn’t expected her to appreciate your small ‘I love you’ but you’re very glad she did.

Queenie Goldstein:

You help her on her wedding day, you have an emotional and touching moment with her

Just wanted to share some basic information about me ꩜ .ᐟ

My names Mangonada (Mango for short)! And yes, just like the Mexican treat. I use She/Her pronouns and I’m 17 years old! I’m also pansexual! I am Mexican but I was born in the US.

I don’t have any sort of posting schedule because I am very busy with school and home life but I do try to update as much as I can!

I love spending my time by playing video/mobile games, reading, binge watching a ton of shows and movies, and listening to music!

I just watched the new Twisters movie with my parents and one of the small details I noticed that really just made me love the movie even more was during the pool scene where Tyler, Kate, and the woman and her daughter are all huddled up, waiting for the tornado to pass as the woman is repeatedly saying “I got you”. Like you can literally see Kate’s face change as she’s remembering the day her friends and boyfriend die. The phrase “I got you” being the last words her boyfriend said to her before he got SNATCHED that triggered her PTSD. The small Ty she lets out as she looked behind her to make sure he is in fact still behind her is literally so adorable but so sad at the same time.

Idk just wanted to share that with y’all since my mom seemed to notice it too. Honestly might start writing for Twisters as well, already got a few ideas in mind

Newt with a Gen Z Teen!Reader

Sypnosis: Y/N ends up time traveling back to 1926 on accident during a freak event with a Time Machine she found. Unfortunately, due to the laws of time travel, she is now forever stuck there and cannot go back to her original time period. Dumbledore ends up putting her on the the famous Newt Scamander, the famous(and only) Magizoologist. How does he react to that?

P.S. This takes place during Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Newt meets Y/N before the events of the movie and it’s basically just Y/N if she was in the first movie. Y/N is using she/her pronouns and is 16!

Newt was quite surprised when Dumbledore had told him that he was now in charge of a 16 year old girl from the future to say the least

When Dumbledore first introduced you guys, he was very sky and awkward around you

He’d barley let a word out and most of the time, you’d be the one continuing the conversation with him

Pickett was just silently observing as this random teenager was trying to speak to Newt, trying to figure out her deal

It took a little bit Newt soon started warming up to you, much to your relief

He had taught you all about his creatures and how to take care of them which means that they officially like you now since you’ve been sweet to their mama and taking care of them

I’d say that’s a win win in my book

He found the way you dressed when he first met you kinda weird but obviously you had to change your style since you didn’t wanna get caught

One of the things that definitely confused him the most about you is when you begin speaking in pure brain rot to him and he’s just like

“What?”

Funniest pranks to pull on him is to just randomly start speaking brainrot to him outta nowhere and just watch his reaction

Sometimes you make fun of his British accent when he talks which he finds it weird but never says anything about it

Teddy loooooves stealing your necklace that you made with the pop tabs you took from all the cans of soda and energy drinks you’ve drank thanks to school

Newt has to always force Teddy to give it back to you and makes sure that none of the pop tabs are missing from it

You two have gotten so close over the past few months that you began to see him almost like a father to you since he took care of you and such

You had ended up going with him to New York to help him free Frank since he didn’t want you to be left alone back in Britain

You also just wanted to simply say goodbye to Frank and watch him be free

What was supposed to be a simple trip and back turned into a mess when a man by the name of Jacob accidentally takes Newts case and let’s all of his creatures out

Although the only good think that came out of that was meeting Tina

It’s gets even worse when an obscurus comes into play and now it’s going around and killing a person and destroying buildings

Newt is slowly starting to regret bringing you along for the ride since you’ve never felt with an Obscurus before and you had no magic

Now Newt, you, Jacob, and Tina are on a mission to find the missing creatures and return them safely to Newts suitcase

Not before making a quick pit stop though

Now you met Queenie

And by the looks of it, the longer we were there the more obvious her and Jacob became with their pretty obvious liking towards one another

Newt highly discourages you getting involved with them since based on all the times you’ve ranted to him about your love life, your definitely not one to give relationship advice

Sypnosis: Y/N bakes whenever they are stressed or sad so how would these characters react to finding her in the kitchen at 3 am surrounded by all the baked goods she baked?

S/O was sleeping soundly in their bed with you by their side/in the room next to theirs, or so they thought. When they turn over in the bed to reach out for you, you’re not there next to them like you should be/ they hear a noise coming from the kitchen. This quickly wakes them up, confused and worried as to why you weren’t in bed/ the noises coming from the kitchen. They get up to go look for you/ check out the noise in the kitchen only to see you surrounded by a bunch of baked goods as you sat down in front of the oven.

Humans

Lu Bu:

He was confused to say the least and slightly irritated

“What are you doing??”

“Baking..”

No shit Sherlock really?

He walks up to you and picks you up, slinging you over his shoulder

“Hey what are you doing? The cookies aren’t done yet!”

He doesn’t care. He drags you back to bed because it’s to damn early for you to be baking and it’s to damn early for him to be dealing with your bullshit

Obviously asks if your okay though since he knows you only do this when your sad or stressed

If you say no then he won’t pry but if you do say yes then you have 2 outcomes

1. He listens

2. He ends up falling asleep while you rant

There is no in between

Adam(platonic):

Bro woke up cuz of the noises coming from the kitchen

He knew it was late at night so there was no reason for anyone to be in there

He thought his 2 boys had gotten a midnight snack again but he walked in to see you with a bunch of different kinds of goods scattered around the kitchen

“Sweetheart? What are you doing awake?”

“Oh hi Dadam, sorry I didn’t mean to wake you up”

He walks over and looks around, looking at all the new and different goods you made

This wasn’t just cookies but other things he’s never actually tried nor heard of before

“Sorry for the mess I promise I’ll clean it up”

“What is troubling you?”

He knows something is wrong with his favorite daughter

He’s a father, he knows these things

You looked at him slightly shocked but quickly look away, trying to hide your sad expression

“It’s…It’s nothing, don’t worry about it”

He only sighs, he wants to know what’s wrong but at the same time he doesn’t want to pry so he leaves it at that as he begins to clean up

You end up helping him even though he continues insisting you don’t need to

He walks you back to your room and tucks you in again, pressing a kiss on your forehead

Don’t think just because he dropped it tonight he dropped it completely, he will ask you again in the morning

The next morning there are a bunch of goodies waiting for the Apple family

He woke up when he couldn’t feel your presence next to him in bed

He assumed you had just gone to the bathroom and thought nothing of it, waiting for you to come back so you two can go back to sleep

After a few more minutes and you haven’t come back, he decided to get up and look for you

He noticed the lights in the kitchen and went to go check what was going on

As soon as he walked in, he was hit with the strong smell of baked goods and the sight of a bunch of different things in containers

“Y/N?”

You froze right as you were about to put another batch of brownies in the oven

“Kyojiro? What are you doing awake?”

He’s slightly surprised to say the least since he didn’t know you could bake this much unless you worked in a bakery

He asks if you are okay and why you are baking so late at night

If you tell him your fine, he won’t believe you and will continue to pry until you tell him

If you do tell him what’s wrong, he’s willing to lend an ear as he helps you clean up

He’s a very good listener and since he’s practically ancient, he’ll hit you up with that good old people wisdom

He’s always happy to listen to you rant about your feeling or just anything in general

Yall have snacks for like days though which he doesn’t mind since he loved your baking

Jack:

Lmao another old man who needs his beauty sleep

Kinda similar to Kyojiro, he thought you were in the bathroom but after a few more minutes and you didn’t show up, he went to check on you to make sure you were okay

He heard quiet music coming from the kitchen while the lights were on and the sweet smell of brownies hit his nose

He walked in to see you sitting down on one of the dinner chairs, waiting for what he guessed were brownies to be done in the oven

“Darling?”

He’s quite surprised to see you awake, especially baking at this hour

You look up at him with a small smile, not surprised to see him

“Hi Jack, did my music wake you up? I’m sorry I promise I’ll turn it down”

After he assures you that it wasn’t the music that woke him up and that he woke up on his own, he’ll start making tea for the both of you

He asks what your doing awake while making the tea

You both kinda stay up talking while the brownies are finishing up so you guys can both go bake to sleep

He asks you what’s wrong since he can clearly tell by your color

Don’t even try to lie to him, he can literally see your emotions so there is no point in doing so

You simply give in and tell him

Again like Kojiro, he’s always happy to lend an ear as he listens to you while sipping his tea like the gentleman he is

He helps you clean up afterwards and you both go back to sleep

Now he has a bunch of goods he can eat at tea parties with Heracles and Hlökk

Raiden:

Bro woke up the moment he smelt the goods tbh since he’s a REALLY heavy sleeper

He immediately made his way to the kitchen only to see the kitchen covered in so many of your delicious sweets

“Damn babe, did ya make all these sweets treats for me?”

He laughed as he walked in and looked at all the options

You were surprised to see him awake since he was a pretty heavy sleeper

“Did I wake you up?”

He only laughed as he shook his head, beginning to rummage through and eating whatever he could

As he’s eating though, he notices how…down you look so obviously that raises some alarms

“Hey uh you alright sweets?”

He looks at you with a raised eyebrow as he continues munching

If you say your fine, he doesn’t believe you and will try everything in his power to make you open up and tell him what’s wrong

If he manages to NOT make you break then rest assured he will find a way to know

In the meantime though he still tries to help you finish baking and cleaning up (while eating of course)

He carries you back to bed and lays you on his chest, you don’t even need a blanket due to how warm he is

Qin:

He was confused as to why you weren’t in bed with him since it was rather late and quickly began growing slightly worried

He put on a robe and quickly began looking for you around the castle

Thankfully the guards had told him exactly where you were as he quickly began making his way to the kitchen only

Once he got there he noticed the large amounts of sweets and baked goods around the kitchen

And you putting in what looked like another batch of cookies

“My Queen?”

You looked back at him, surprised to see he was awake

“Q-Qin! My king what are you doing awake?”

“I should be asking you that sweetheart”

Like Adam, he already KNOWS something is wrong

I mean your the love of his life, of course he’d know when something is off with you

He quickly walks over and hold you close as he wraps his arms around you

“My queen…please talk to me…”

Even though he wants to know so badly what’s wrong, he will always be patient when it comes to you

He’ll wait until your ready to talk to him about it

He’ll kiss your forehead reassuringly and all that cute stuff

He calls in one of the servants to finish up the batch of cookies you put in the oven and to put everything else away as he carries you bridal style back to your shared bedroom

Tucks you both into bed while he rubs your back and places small kisses around your face as you both fall asleep

Tesla:

It is a miracle that this man was even ASLEEP in the first place

Like bro barely sleeps since he’s always so busy with his inventions and sciency stuff

Anyways when he noticed you were not in bed, he was slightly worried since out of the two of you, you had the better sleeping schedule

He quickly got up and went to look for you

When he saw that the kitchen light was on and the air smelt sweet, he already knew it was you and quickly made his way to the kitchen

He walked in and saw the kitchen filled with containers of sweets and with you putting the rolled up cookie dough on the pan

“Meine Liebe what are you doing up?”

Once you heard his voice, you instantly feel bad since this was going to be one of those rare moments where he ACTUALLY got some damn sleep

“Sweetheart what are you doing awake? Go back to sleep, it’s really late”

He is NOT amused by you trying to spin this on him

He already definitely knows something’s up with you

He’s a scientist, he’s always attentive so ofc he’s gonna notice when something is wrong with you

You both just stayed up even though you kept repeatedly telling him to go back to sleep but he refused

He just wanted to make sure you didn’t hurt yourself while baking

And he wasn’t tired anymore—

Overall you both just kinda stayed up baking as he listened to you rant (if you wanted to)

He helps with distracting you by talking about his theories and stuff if you don’t wanna talk about it though
