Spent two days without listening to Hamilton.
I don't think I can get through exams without it.
*I'm not throwing away my shot*

I don't know half of Tolkien lore half as well as I should like, and I've studied less than half of it half as much as it deserves.

I have reached the point where A. Hamilton has persuaded me to read "the Spectator" by Joseph Addison and Richard Steele. I had never heard this book till yesterday, which shows how much time I pass each day thinking and learning things about Hamilton. I wish I could meet him and his whole family (especially Eliza), but I'll just spend my time reading about him in books, or reading his favorite books.
"The Spectator" looks like a book that will challenge me both in language and in content, but challenge accepted. I know I will never read all volumes but I'll at least try reading some pages.

(Spoilers about " Meet Joe Black" (1998) following) The thing that I find heartbreaking in "Meet Joe Black" is that in the end he does leave. He leaves behind his true love and returns to loneliness. The man whose body he occupied, and who we met in the beginning, does return. But we, the audience, and Susan know he is actually a different person.
While watching the ending my thoughts were that I'll miss the awkward fellow with the awkward fake name "Joe Black". And even though Susan liked someone who only looked like Joe Black in the beginning, she later truly fell in love with the version of him that was supposed to be Joe Black. It is less painful knowing that Susan won't be alone but with someone she loves. But at the same time she loved Joe Black and she won't exactly be with him anymore.
I thought that at the ending we might see an old Susan meeting again with "Joe Black" in her last moment of life, but then the movie would have ended on a different note.
It broke my heart when I saw the innocent tears "Joe Black" wept. His every awkward move was so endearing and his words of love sincere...So even with the bittersweet ending we got, my heart still broke. Have to admit that there is something special in those late 90s and early 00s movies. They make me feel such a strong longing for years to come. I never forget them this way.

Studying Japanese is so weird. I almost never miss studying something, but when it comes to Japanese, if I go for a long time without hearing, reading or speaking it, I miss it so much. It's weird to love studying something this much. Even when it gets boring and I don't want to do it, it still isn't annoying. Perhaps the many years that I spent waiting to be old enough to properly start learning it, made the yearning so strong that it can never go away now. And even when it does get annoying that I have homework to do for my Japanese classes, I still don't want to stop having them.
Perhaps it's my passion, perhaps it's not. But it doesn't matter. Because whether learning this language will lead me somewhere or not, I'm still happy I decided to do it. I'm still happy I spent so much time studying it, doing homework and preparing for exams, even when I had to give up on doing other things. And I'm glad that I got a proper chance to study it.
My weeb dreams came true.

Thank you for shattering my ordinary days. Thank you for wanting a future with me. I wonder if there's anything I can do for you. This spring sky is the bluest I'ever seen. I wish I could at least give you that vast sky. No, even better...A cake with lots of whipped cream on top. I bet you'd like that more.
