Hiya!!

I'm Madison! I'm currently going to college for Sports Broadcasting/Sports Journalism. My original plan was to work in motorsports and as much as I love formula 1, I know it won't be a good fit for my life style.

Over the last 6 months I have been trying to find a new career path. Hockey has always been one of those sports I watch occasionally. I never truly realized how much I loved hockey until watching our local farming hockey team play. In November I went to my first NHL game and got to watch my all time favorite team, the Boston Bruins, play. While seeing the game live, I realized I could actually see myself working in hockey.

This blog, "Mic'd up with Mads", will be my outlet to showcase my work in hopes to build up a community. I will be uploading various post; articles, updates, etc. My goal with this blog is to one day host my own podcast or segment in the NHL, where I will get to interview players or just share some fun commentary.
