my take on the dabi todoroki theory

so, for a while now there’s been a theory going around the BNHA fandom about dabi being the elder brother of shouto, so here's what i think

first of all, dabi’s quirk is cremation (though it’s never officially been named). he can emit blue flames from his hands, and, you probably know that blue flames are usually much hotter than orange ones. if dabi got his fire quirk from endeavor, this would make perfect sense, considering how quirks get more and more powerful each generation. 

dabi, of course, cant control his quirk like endeavor can – my assumption about this is that endeavor learned the skill during his time at UA, and dabi simply hasn’t learned how to do it yet

in two instances, dabi refers to both endeavor and shouto by their full names. dunno about what that means in japanese culture, but i know that in the west people usually only address others by their full names if they’re being serious/formal, or they’re closely related in some way (i also think it’s pretty weird that dabi would know shouto’s name without having a connection with him)

third, the todoroki family generally have the same eyes – the females with an ice quirk have round, grey eyes, and the males with fire have small, slitted turquoise eyes. this type is found in almost no other character, so i think it’s too prominent to be ignored

that’s about all i have for now! basically all my other ideas have been covered by other people, so...yeah lol
