If Petey doesn't repeat Sydney Carton's final lines (he does in A Tale of Two Kitties while fighting Flippy) during the movie, i will scream.

Literally so so so sosoososoososoooo excited like. The crew working on this movie is stacked and im so so happy how the stylistics work. One of the only ways i convinced my partner to come with me is because the creative lead (if i remember correctly) of Puss in Boots: TLW is also the lead of this movie. Love that guy!!!!

Oooghhhh i cannot believe i'm feeling more hyped for the Dog Man movie than i felt for the Captain Underpants movie... i thought that was impossible... That was *such* a sick film (Capt. U). Like. It's the precursor to the Spiderverse style, fight me on this. It's experimental with it's style, and the Dog Man movie is the later child of this developed, layered, succulent animation technique.

Also!!! The theaters around my area are showing the movie Jan 30th.... so i see the movie in less than 18 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally doing what Elementary schooler me would've killed to do:

The clone machine says that it would take 18 years for Lil Petey to reach adulthood, right? Well, he has a LOT of consciousness for a literal baby (he acts like a 5 year old), so I always found it odd that the comix stated 18 years would need to pass.

So.

What if he was an actual baby??

Basically, Lil Petey is baby, small baby, wee kitten, and Petey ain't prepared for this. Neither is Dog Man. Or Chief. Or Nurse Lady. Or Sarah. Or Gramp-

Petey and Dog Man have to make difficult choices surrounding morality, mortality, and how they see one another.

The AU might turn into Detey. I have no idea.
