hiiii i wanted to apologise for lack of content/activity.. i did get the lining done for the 80th anniversary piece but haven’t had the motivation to colour/render it yet 💔

spongebob spinterest hit me hard after like basically my childhood being the last time i truly interacted with the content regularly. the musical dragged me back in and now the only thing on my mind has been plankaren. they make me sick (positive)

i still love ttte very much and haven’t “gotten out of it”. its a spinterest for a reason, i just have more than one and tend to kind of focus more on one at a time :]

and happy fibro awareness day 💜 here’s a butterflying scotsman 4 our troubles. it’s a condition ive been living with for as long as i can rmbr, but only this year (after around 3 yrs of fighting doctors telling me the pain was in my head) i finally got my diagnosis. i hc that scott would also suffer w it so what better way 2 combine the two than giving him butterfly wings for smoke deflectors :]

fms is still a widely misunderstood condition, and one that some doctors even continue to consider fake despite research proving otherwise. lots more info here! —>

happy james day ♥️ unfinished icon i did for a friend ^_^

bit of a life update since i haven’t been very active, ive been working on cosplay again! im going to be cosplaying thomas for mcm coming up in may (as well as shelagh from ctm and probably also danny phantom) and if i get any nice photos i MIGHT post them here. cosplay-making has basically been taking up most of my time recently (as well as the current house md and call the midwife binge-watching ive been doing LOL)

i hope u guys have all been well and i have seen a couple of asks that i plan on answering! drawing has just been a very hard thing 2 do rn 💔 i have a locoudrian sort of.. ref sheet in the works since a couple people have asked 2 make their own which is SUPER NEAT!! and i look forward to posting that and seeing what u guys create giggle

hi chat i turned the bday piece into a gordward piece bc my brain is infected with the gordward disease 💔

some cool info abt these guys

spec name is locoudrians (locomotive + sudrian) - i’ll b tagging them as locoudrian au from now on ^>^. they’re combination fur and feathers, as well as having scaly keratin on their bird-like feet. their faces are the only part of their skin that’s exposed. the ‘locomotive’ part is a metallic exoskeleton used as protection

seperated images below + a flying scotsman doodle. sudrians call him the ‘angel of sodor’ whenever he passes through because of his almost biblically correct angel-like appearance

MY FIRST ASK WTF!!!! SLASH POS!!!

ok some random henry-orientated hcs (featuring other characters) here ^_^

★ loves gardening, and has done from a very young age. he used to spend a lot of time gardening with scott while gordon preferred reading. upon arriving on sodor, he’d take care of the plants around his apartment complex (shared with gordon and edward, though they all lived in separate apartments — they were neighbours) as well as the greenhouse. when he finally moves in with james, he gets to take care of an actual garden, and his favourite thing about it is the pond. henry adores pond life though james isn’t too fond (he thinks frogs and fish are slimy).

★ has a fascination with medicine and anatomy and really likes the human body. his interest actually comes from his own suffering. he finds himself more comforted when he knows what’s going on with his body, and panics when something new occurs - he thinks that if he’s hyper aware of what’s wrong, it’ll keep his mind at rest.

★ suffers quite badly with migraines, and experiences the “flashing lights” aura before the actual headache. he thinks the aura is arguably worse than the pain because it makes him feel sick and dizzy. luckily usually james, gordon or edward are around to offer assistance. in the case that all three are there, gordon and james keep henry company while the painkillers kick in and henry naps (and make sure the room is dark enough as not to disturb him) and edward makes his favourite soup when he’s awake and more with it. they keep their conversations as quiet as possible, and always make sure there’s at least one person by henry’s side :]

★ uses a cane, crutches and a wheelchair when it’s absolutely necessary. generally it’ll be his cane he’s seen with — the crutches and wheelchair are for his bad pain days or fainting episodes. his cane is decorated to look like a branch (which he painted himself) and he’s considered wrapping it in fairy lights. he was actually reluctant to use any form of mobility aids at first, but gordon eventually convinced him, and promised no one would think differently of him.

★ was rambunctious and often unkind in his 20s-early 30s and it was usually because of his pain. after the flying kipper accident and the traumatic brain injury causing the coma that followed, henry started to become a worrier — and it’s understandable why. he still snaps sometimes, but he’ll always apologise. where he didn’t take great care of his health before the accident, he does a lot more now. one part because the brain injury and coma made him realise how precious life is, and another part because he never wants to see gordon in the state that he was in during his healing process (as well as the stories he’d heard from edward regarding what gordon was like during the actual coma period).

★ really enjoys swimming and fishing. he did try to get james into fishing, but he was too fidgety and found it kind of boring. gordon and edward actually think it’s relaxing, though, and often join him on his fishing trips. james much prefers to swim with henry than fish (and enjoys a hot tub even more). henry also enjoys painting! he’s a traditional artist that uses mostly watercolour on canvas.

★ his fav shows are house and call the midwife. he and gordon actually binged the house series together (and then gordon introduced it to edward). he enjoys these shows because of his (as mentioned before) fascination with the human body and medicine.

i found myself in a similar position 2 this on the bathroom floor a few days ago because i often get dizzy after hot baths (but i really love hot baths bc they help soothe my pain) and i just.. laid down both to ease the light-headedness and also because the floor was realllllyy cold and just really nice. but as i was laying there the first thought that popped into my mind was ‘wow.. this is so henrycore.’ and then i decided 2 art it :] i project a lot on2 henry and i think he suffers a lot w his disabilities 💔 i might talk more specifically abt my henry hcs sometime in the future (or if people are interested and ask ^_^)

i only TODAY find out that 4/4 was not only gordon day. not only fat fuck friday. BUT ALSO WORLD RAT DAY? AND I.. DIDNT KNOW?? i have 2 girls and 2 boys and they’re my babies that i love so much and ive had rats since i was about 7 so NATURALLY i had to draw gordon and thomas as rats. this art is actually quite old (drawn around the time i got into ttte last year) but its still cute. gordon is a gambian pouched and thomas is a hooded dumbo rex :]

HAPPY GORDWARD DAY! AGAIN! 2/4 :]

quick little coloured sketch that’s hopefully gonna be a part of a fun little edit i’ve been working on ^_^ thought it’s the least i cld do for this occasion (i heart gordward)

i like to imagine this is edward’s desk. it’s their “just married” photo and edward keeps gordon’s broach and his own glasses chain from the wedding. and a hand-painted model of his loco that gordon made just for him :] (gordon is autistic and loves model trains just as much as the real ones he gets to be around. he actually keeps a little replica of tidmouth sheds with all of the steam team’s locos, but would never show or tell. the only person thats seen it is edward)

decided to show off my (never to be finished) VERY FIRST humanisation design closeups for the main 6!! my humanisations are still very much a work in progress but these are the foundations for what hopefully will one day be set in place designs for them :] i’m so excited to write and draw more for my human ttte world 💚
