They say “Gratitude turns what we have into enough” Did it make sense at the first go? To be honest, it didn’t ever strike a chord with me until year 2011 happened and life taught me one of it’s biggest lesson! From that till today – the word ‘Gratitude’ has so much value in my life that whatever evolved I am today – it’s because all I have ever been now is GRATEFUL! 🌺 Well, cliché as it sounds – but it’s actually true! You see, the more evolved or let’s say wiser one gets – the more clarity we have about everything around us – within us. Otherwise, you tell me – how many of us would even understand this word at the age of say in our early twenties. Let’s not count school teaching us to be thankful because we never really learnt it well – cos if we did – we wouldn’t have been running after things we don’t have today – right? How many of us (and that includes me too) yearn for something we don’t have right now? Well, practically all of us. It’s funny – we won’t value and cherish what we have but will definitely yearn for something which isn’t in our plans right now? F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Once in a while, right in the middle of our life – universe gives us that person who knows you in and out and will stand by you irrespective of any damn thing. A person who would listen to you for hours and hours irrespective of your rantings or venting out for anything and everything. IF YOU'RE GOING THROUGH A TURMOIL ; THERE IS A DIVINE PLAN BEHIND IT!

To be honest, all of us have a life which is exactly like a roller coaster ride.

Believe it or not, it works the exact same way – let’s just replace fear with a little low days and excitement with happy times. (fear and excitement which are the emotions we actually feel in a roller coaster ride)

The same way it goes up and down and it’s a continuous process which keeps happening till the time our heart is beating.

And in that, life just happens to all of us – what we make of it is all up to us.

You see, it’s a gift – and that gift should be used or to just leave it as it is – is something which is totally in our hands.

They say, hard times are the worst to overcome and I am sure it is (having first hand experience on the same – can vouch for it) but but but – I made sure of one thing in those times and i.e. to believe that there is a reason behind all this!

Yes, the mere belief that in the end everything falls into its place has got me where I am today. It’s not been easy but it’s been worth it and the fact that this belief has made me into such a calmer – stronger – wiser human is something my people would know of!

So all of you who are reading this right now, understand this – specially when the hard time sets in, if you’re going through a turmoil – there is a DIVINE PLAN behind it!

You might not see it then, but eventually it all adds up to it and you know that it did and that my readers is the best feeling ever – to evolve in theses hard times with the belief that there is a divine plan behind this – makes each one of us STRONGER – WISER – CALMER and the BEST VERSION OF OURSELVES!

So hold on – keep going and never ever stop believing that all of this is happening for the best days which are yet to come!

IT'S JUST A MATTER OF TIME... 

In this life, we have so much to live for – so much to do and then there is time which is speeding up like in seconds!

But here’s a thing about TIME – when its speeding up, we are all living it and when it has gone – the only thing it leaves us are good beautiful memories.

Be it for the worst or the best – memories make you the person you are! It makes you stronger and wiser – loving and kind.

When I look back, all I ever see is my good and bad memories both – cos both of them made of who I am today.

From bad memories – we learn and grow wiser and with good ones – we become the best version of ourselves and keep that sweet memory alive in our hearts forever.

He came in her life just like the perfect stranger – looking at her with so many questions in his eyes. None of them knew what would be the next step as all they were doing was looking at each other assuming things on their own and fighting for answers within themselves.

It was until she gathered the courage to speak and said “Heyie” and an immediate reply came “Hello” with a smile which melted their hearts right then.  

There was this click between them, which they couldn’t explain but both were so drawn to each other just by that “click”.

Soon, the “Hello” and “Heyie” exchanged (which she replayed so many times in her head that time and reminisces till today with the smile which never fades away).  

Who knew those sweet little introductory will get them where they are today!

Moving on, the “hello” and “heyie” played its part well and their bond strengthened each day.

Both of them together saw a lot of dreams together (of which some they made true; some were yet to be)

Those little things you do for each other, sweet little nothings as they say – those warm hugs that practically makes everything okay in the world was something they both lived for.

This is one of the best feeling – to have someone of your own – to cherish them – love them and know that no matter what happens – that one person will be with you always! It just makes LIFE worth it!

But life as we know it – had its own plans for both of them and with time speeding up they grew apart only to become more wiser and stronger. They grew apart yet the connection never faded away.

Its not that they gave up on the bond, sometimes destiny wants you to meet some people – and then wants them to leave also only for the GOOD.

This is what happened to them as well – they cherished, loved and laughed and kept this special bond etched in their hearts forever.

Now when they both look back; all it does is brightens their faces with a smile only they know of.

Yes, it did make them wonder if destiny had something else for them, if this bond only had to grow together and not grow apart – but as they say EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON!

It sure did!

Today both of them are at a place where they know whatever happened was for the good because they could see how evolved as an individual, they are today – and how this bond only brings a big smile even today!

And that’s how it should be – every bond should only be cherished irrespective of its validity.

Hence, everything that happens in our life – is for a reason and for a damn good one!

Taking everything in our stride – positively only brings happiness and peace which is what we need at the end of the day!

LIVE IN THE MOMENT – DO YOU?

Right now, we are all in a middle of a pandemic where nothing seems certain, with each day something new is coming up making it difficult for all of us to cope with what we have and to prepare for the uncertainty.

But you know what? We all will find the light! I know it’s too cliché but it's true as well. If you ponder on the little things in your life that have made even the tiniest bit of impression of positivity – you have your light within you!

In fact, we all have so much to be grateful for – to look forward to – to do things we never did simply because we were hustling between so much to do!

This is the time to focus on those things we never could do – we never thought we would find the time to do!

You know it’s like always struggling to find that time to do things that give you immense happiness (apart from your daily hustle bustle) and never able to do so. But then, the universe does work in our way I guess – this is a brilliant time to work on yourself – to find yourself – and to do things you love the most without any questions asked!

All of us before knowing what 2020 will hit us with, had so many plans to do and it all came crashing down when we were all confined within the four walls (or whatever number of walls you have :p)

For starters, it was okay because we were still grasping and processing whatever was happening around us and then came a time where we were left wondering of how life would be post pandemic.

We thought all of that, but did not wonder if we could make the most of this time. They say – LIVE IN THE MOMENT – but do we?

In times like these, where efficient people are doing their best for all of us to come out of this crisis quickly and happily – the least we could is to believe in the power of “everything happens for a reason” – it won’t make sense now – but it definitely will eventually.

I know it’s easier said than done, but I really believe – whatever situation we all are in, it is what it is – the only power we have is to either sail through this time happily with a lot more positivity for anything and everything or just sulk about it – make it more worse than it is. It’s really upto US you know!

With that - let’s just re-find ourselves a little more, love a little more, be kind a little more and just be thankful a little more always and forever!
