The Winx girls in outfits from TWICE'S Like Ooh Aah era

My two current hyperfixations collide into this idea and I have gone down a rabbit hole on Pintrest looking at the different eras from Twice and seeing what I think each of the Winx gals would wear

(Just be extra clear these images are from Pinterest, i don't own any of them)

Bloom:

I saw the denim jacket and instantly thought of Bloom. Idk why but I just associate Bloom with denim. The simple white top is cute and the shade of blue in the skirt is very much in Bloom's colors. The plaid design is also cute.

Stella:

So I picked this one because of it being a matching set. I think Stella is the type to rock the matching look. I would actually keep it in the black for Stella and instead of it being with white paint splatter design I would change it to be sparkles. It would be giving night sky you know? Kind of a more mature look Stella would wear maybe around season 3 (my hc that she explores her moon powers more around that time)

Flora:

This one could be a stretch i know, i also promise that's its the last Sana outfit here (her fits just worked better for the first 3 girlies) Anyways, what sold this as Flora to me was the white lacey top. I can't really tell if its flowers or not but either way I think Flora would wear lacey things. As for the black top and skirt, I don't think she would go that dark, maybe if it was a forest green it would work and instead of the white text have it be some kind of flowers or leaves. But the silhouette and shape of the fit is what makes Flora-esque to me.

Aisha:

Right away I knew this was Aisha. No notes its perfect. I'm pretty sure in season 2 Aisha has a look where its a cropped tank and green cargo pants, so this is pretty much the irl version of it. Again this would be a 10/10 on Aisha

Musa:

It's cute but not overly feminine for our tomboy Musa. When I picture Musa in skirts this is what i think of, not the monstrosity of s4. I think Musa is one of the few girls of the group to wear blacks and greys and the plaid skirt just makes sense to me.

Tecna:

Okay okay again hear me out on this one. The color scheme is totally wrong for Tecna but the sweater itself matches her vibes. I love the color blocking, it adds a geometric element that I think suits Tecna. Rather than the reds, blues, and muted green, i was picturing more of a muted magenta, a darker emerald green and maybe like an icy/off-white blue. The leather bottoms are fine as is. Overall, I see this as a fit Tecna would wear for a casual party (like the one in s1 before the minotaur)

So yeah if you stuck around for this long thanks for reading my rambles. I am not a fashion expert so the vocabulary in describing clothes is probably off. Umm let me know if I should I make this series and post for the other eras 😅

I am spoiling the live action Lilo & Stitch. And I am doing it up front and plainly.

Do not fucking see this movie. Do not waste your money on this. Period.

They made Nani give Lilo up to the American government. They made Nani LEAVE Hawaii and pursue being a marine biologist. They made a native Hawaiian character give up her sibling to pursue a dream that she originally did not have. This is imperialist propaganda at its FINEST.

The original fucking movie is about family staying together. It's about indigenous people being able to stay with each other and stay in their home and be together! That's the whole fucking point! Nani is Lilo's last living relative on her homeland—it is jarring, it is disgusting and disturbing that Nani would not only leave her last blood relative alone, give her up to the very government that is harming native Hawaiians TODAY, but also travel to the "mainland" for her dream!

Not to mention, Nani's actress isn't fucking Hawaiian. She's much paler in photos and real life. They fucking darkened her for this movie.

Don't even get me started on the transgender subtext of Pleakley's "human" disguise from the original movie being completely erased in favor of him being played by a regular ass white man. Jumba doesn't have his accent, they made him more villainous, and his "human" disguise is a non-fat white man—which part of his original joke, I know, is that he was bigger and was more clumsy in the movie because of his size, but to have the main shape of his character completely removed is also fucking weird.

This live action movie is a desecration to the original. I encourage you to not see it, please. Don't give Disney any of your money on this one. Just watch the original. Please just watch the original.

The new message in the live action movie is disturbing and gross.

Nevermind Noah Wyle confirming in interviews that Robby has feelings for Heather that may be explored next season.

It's so much easier for y'all to put two canonically straight characters into a romantic relationship (I'd argue that Dr. Abbott is Robby's ACTUAL best friend) than for you to imagine he could be in love with or pining after a Black woman. A dark skinned, natural-haired no make-up wearing plain old beautiful Black woman.

He doesn't want to be with her. Nooooo, they're just friends. He secretly wants to fuck his male best friend ... they gave each other a hug it's obviously sexual tension there!

i am going to shout this from the rooftops:

Katniss, Haymitch, and the Seam inhabitants are all described as olive-skinned, brown-eyed (edit: and gray-eyed), and dark-haired.

Peeta, Maysilee, Katniss’ mother and the Merchants are largely described as blond haired, blue eyed, light-skinned.

The Hunger Games adaptations have a huge weakness to their casting because they allowed their white audience to overlook this very important fact, that the Mockingjay is a brown girl, that her mother was disowned for having a mixed-race and mixed-class marriage, that Katniss and Haymitch were long shots not just because they’re Seam but because they are brown… because the only brown characters in the movies (i.e. Rue, Thresh, 11 in general) were there to be tragic, not to be saviors.

Katniss Everdeen is brown, and I won’t forgive or forget the movies for erasing that part of her character.

In a weird hyper-fixation phase where I just want to make MLP aus for every fandom I am in. Currently fascinated by how I would transfer the Ever After High universe to MLP style

Besides the already difficult task of giving the EAH characters ponysonas, combining the two lores is hard asdkfhksd

Like right now I am intrigued about how Cuties Marks can somehow be tied with the whole Storybook of Legends/destiny thing. I have thought of two different ways to go about it and oooooh I am so going delulu over this than using my energy for school work

But yes to both people who have reblogged this! Those were the two ideas that were jumping in my head

Like yeah I originally thought of it as ponies get their Cutie Marks as normal like in the show (so when they're children), and yes the Cutie Marks are related to a person's destiny. Cutie Marks are actually kind of viewed as a family crest because they will have similar motifs/symbols etc. So yeah, unlike MLP canon where Cutie Marks represent a pony's special talent/uniqueness in MLPxEAH world, Cutie Marks represent one's destiny.... or so they think

I picture that as the story progresses and we see that destiny is not set in stone, the Storybook of Legends is a hoax, etc, We also get the rebels re-interpreting the significance of their Cutie Marks. I sort of imagine that they each get a moment of realization/epiphany where they do their special talent/discover their passion idk and like their mark will glow kind of how it does in the MLP universe at times.

Idk if that made sense but like an example I get is with Darling. Everyone thinks her Cutie Mark is very traditional and depicts her destiny as a damsel in distress. At the moment I see her mark being silver, and people believe it represents a compact mirror (cause Charmings are beautiful people yada yada) or a lock ("her destiny is to be locked in a tower). But in reality it is actually a shield, showcasing her ability to be a knight.

People like Dexter would find relief in this because as we know Dexter is insecure about not knowing what his destiny is. With having a Cutie Mark, I can imagine him being more stressed out because it is so generic in comparison to his siblings. Just another Charming prince to fill in the gaps yk. However, when he sees how the rebels are reclaiming what their Cutie Mark means for them, it is a moment of liberation for Dexter.

Then yes, the other angle I approached it as is that the characters arrive to EAH as blank flanks and here is where I blank out a bit. It makes most sense to say that signing the Storybook gives one their Cutie Mark. Yet one could also argue that one does not get their mark until one completes their destiny. However, I think the first option makes the most sense thematically-wise.

Cause then when Raven refuses to sign, its the whole ordeal of "how are you going to get your Cutie Mark now?! You'll be a blank flank forever etc". And yeah it would be very cool to have the Rebels be known for having their blank flanks (though then again, the Shannon Hale books imply that only a few were only able to sign before Raven so ksdhfks). And Briar, Dexter, and Cedar's arc (and more but these were the first that came to mind) would fit so well with this framework.

Briar comes to realize how awful her destiny is and decides that she would rather have a blank flank than sleep for 100 years and lose everyone she loves

Dexter, who wants to know what his destiny is and have that physical mark. But then finds himself in that moral dilemma where he wants to support Raven but he still believes/fears that Cutie Marks will only appear by signing the book

And Cedar is a Rebel but feels the guilt that she wants to sign the book because it is the only way she knows will be a real pony. Thus the blank flank is an insecurity of hers because it is a reminder that by rebelling she won't be a real pony.

Obviously, this is proven to be wrong. One gets their Cutie Mark when they discover what makes them unique as explained in MLP canon. Though now that I am writing this, it makes me then wonder what lengths did Milton go through for people to get their Cutie Marks by signing the book?!?! Oh the reveal in Homecoming would be so much more chaotic.

Like I know for a fact that Raven would be the first to get her Cutie Mark without signing and thus proving to everyone how destiny is fake and all that. But the actual specifics of it I haven't worked out yet
