The Princess and Her Dragon

I’ve been practicing with interacting poses and one of them was someone holding up another person and I couldn’t help but think of one of my favorite ships. So, I ended up drawing this.

Perona’s ready to go to the beach!

I wanted to practice a manga style using a new brush and some screen tones. And since summer is approaching and Perona just so happened to be on my mind, I decided to draw her in a swim suit.

An extremely rough ink and color of a topless King because I was too lazy to draw his shirt and fully render his wings.

For whatever reason, King is one of the hardest characters for me to draw. Sadly, the other one is literally my favorite character in One Piece. Hopefully as I keep practicing, it’ll become easier to draw them.

Why was Natsu so hard to draw? Everything from his hair to his hand and even his torso gave me trouble.

I got bored during an event and decided to sketch my design of Scylla to pass the time. Somehow I ended up with this.

Character design and art inspired by Polyphemus with jelly gouache.

There’s a theory that elephant skulls inspired the myth of the cyclops. So I wanted to incorporate that into my design. I also tried to add some ocean elements which is why purple, blue, and green are incorporated into the artwork.

And the initial sketch + Poseidon concept.

Mercphobia Art Using Fountain Pen Inks.

I tried to use two blue inks with water/dragon themes. So I used Sea Serpent and The Ribbiting Pond. It also took me three tries to create this since I kept making mistakes. I even made a mistake with my signature and almost forgot to add the tattoo.

Yamato, Jack, Ulti, and Page One using acrylic markers on bristol board. I was also going to add King so that all of the children that Kaido raised were there, but there wasn’t enough room.

I’ll probably draw King more later since I’ve had a lot of free time lately. I really like his design and I love drawing wings. Also, fun fact about Jack, he’s the same age as Yamato.

I Thought That It Would Be Fun To See What An Adult Lucky Girl Would Look Like So I Drew This.

I opted for blue mana hair to harken back to the original series where her magic was blue.
