I have a friend lets call her A right? A’s been acting kinda mom-ish lately but like not in a sweet way more in a silently judgmental, “your uniform is inappropriate cus your collar is off and you don’t care about school” kind of way and i’ve tried to brush it off imean really i really have but today she said something that hit a nerve, and i snapped. we fought. i walked out mostly to keep myself from crying, because yeah. i was angry because like i needed a friend not a mom.

next day, i went to the library like always. she normally comes to pick me up there with my other firend, but today she didn’t. and for some reason, that hurt alot more than normal and then when i tried to talk to her later, she acted like nothing had happened. like we were just fine. i went off a bit, again , just said i didn’t need another mom, i needed a friend. she ignored that too.

later, she said she’d leave our band if that’s what i wanted. and i realized she still didn’t get it.

but then, walking back to class, she finally said she was sorry that she’d stop trying to fix me that she’d trust me to be myself and we finally got over this crazy week long tension

SO GUYS If you’ve ever felt like someone’s trying to change you when all you want is to be understood just stand your ground. You deserve to be heard and respected, even if it gets a little awkward.

HOW do you get someone’s attention without them knowing it’s you trying to get their attention? Like, you want them to think someone wants attention, but not YoU becuz youre way too scared to reach out because u don’t want to look like a stalker, especially since u barely talk to them in the first place. BUT, u both know each other just not like that close y’know? I KNOW this is the million-dollar question, but seriously, I need HeLp.
