i got this video on tiktok where this person was talking about why they don't like jegulus. they said something like "i don't have anything that positive to say." which i was like oh brother, here we go. and then her FIRST point was that she never likes to read about death eater characters and it just made me think of the old school harry potter fandom (and based on this person's age, i'm guessing she could have been in that part of the fandom) when cassandra clare and her girl ground hateddd the "one big happy family" shippers because they were boring as fuck. it just makes me laugh now because yes, of course someone who won't read about death eater characters (even one that died as a teenager while betraying voldemort) isn't going to like jegulus.
