Transgenders –Why? And Why not?

After World War 2, the global economy desperately needed to come back on track. That is the time when women began working and joined the clerical forces along with Industrialization. It was the period between 1930-1970, and sadly, the masses abhorred this change on a massive level. For the longest time, the world only accepted anything and everything that was done by males. Females were supposed to sit at home, raise kids and complete the daily household chores. 

This is why, it does not come as a surprise when the world, even today, in 2022, cannot accept Transgenders in society. Many countries have legalized LGBTQ, however, the people of those countries themselves turn their faces to the people of these communities. 

Why Transgenders? 

Have you ever been at a job where you felt it’s just not who you are, not where you belong? Did it feel wrong? What do you do then? You change your job obviously because you feel if you get the work you desire you’ll be happy, and more content. 

Similarly, with transgenders, if they are born male, when they grow up, they know it’s not what they feel like, it’s not where they belong. So, what’s wrong if they change their preference? Why is it frowned upon?  

It’s about time that we as a society begin to respect everyone’s choices, be it transgender, women not wanting to have kids, or a man wanting to be in the field of fashion.
